Obama is as moderate as they come and I CANNOT STAND HIM. Every other one of my fellow left-wing loons holds him up as the savior of the party but I think he'll put the final nail in the coffin of the Democratic party if he holds a higher office (*cough*the presidency*cough*). He's one of the phoniest politicians I've ever seen and that says a LOT; his speech at the DNC was vomit-inducing. I almost puked when I saw him on the cover of Newsweek "Not seeing red or seeing blue, but seeing PURPLE." Ugh. And the actual article was even worse. It says a lot when Forrest Gump (aka Santorum) comes off looking better than Obama. I will take a Bush over Obama any day of the week for the simple fact that Obama will signify and bring the death of even the tiniest glimmer of true liberalism in the Democratic party. No way, man. Obama should just cross over to the Republicans and they can give us Olympia Snowe in return.

If we want to hold our heads high, let's go out with a bang and have a Ted Kennedy/Robert Reich ticket.

Which means telling the Democrats to kiss our liberal asses and going down and registering as Greens.

I've already done it.

It happened the day after Kerry conceded. I saw the light, y friend. These Democrats are just as filthy as the Repubs.

and - the sad thing is I agree with you - not personally sad - but politically

But - the realistic ? is - who has a better chance - actually realistic should be substituted with sad

P.S. I hope all is well with you and your family this New Year AND you should be here with me and my Waldorf Astoria greedy capitalist experience - hey - you could be here at midnight (with a rash) telling me to BOW to my resolution to quit supoting the greedy murderous capiltalist tobacco farmers - as I am (for the 100th time ) REALLY REALLY REALLY quitting this time

Something is very, very wrong. This last election seems even more of a sham that 2000.

Thank you, dear, I wish the same to you.

I'm working.

My boss called me on Tuesday and told me that if I worked this job, he'd give me a bigger bonus and I'm a whore for money, so who am I to shake a stick at it... I got specs yesterday morning and have been working my tail off, I'm incredibly horny and starved of sex, and I've been alternately listening to Debbie Harry and Franz Ferdinand for 24 hours straight (I could do flawless impersonations of both at the drop of a hat at this point). I'm not even going to any New Years parties. But I am celebrating the fact that I don't have to see Dick Clark at all this year.

As for the fags, I thought you were smarter than that? Every cigarette you smoke only benefits the Rethugs and big business, that should be reason enough to quit! But then again...you'll only pack on a few pounds after you quit...

Yeah, the current crop of Democrats. They're spineless cowards. Policies are not important anymore, nor are the people of this country. The only important thing to these people is having control of the country. It's so important to them that they'll sell out in order to get it. I don't need them that badly, fortunately. They aren't fit kiss my cold, Northern liberal ass.

For all we know, Election 2004 was a Skull and Bones sham. It would certainly explain a helluva lot.

That's kind of what I was getting at. Kerry is going to be in the Middle East on January 6th. Odd timing. Or not.

Christ. They jerked off in stone coffins decades ago and now help each other run the world. Go figure.

I wonder if he still plans to run in '08. Part of me hopes he does just so I can laugh at his sorry ass. I would take much glee in doing so.

We're perilously close to becoming a one party state. I hope Sylvia Browne's prediction does come true and the presidency is done away with. We have to be cajoled to helping out in a tragedy that literally shifted the earth's axis.

I love me some Sylvia, but I hadn't heard that from her!! I hope it does come true.

Don't even get me started on the "help" Bush is offering. $35 million? That's an insult to the memory of those who lost their lives.

It's on this board somewhere. Someone posted all of Sylvia's predictions.
As for the Kerry Campaign, someone on another board says they destroyed evidence of fraud and didn't want to hear about fraud in Florida. Hopefully, this info is all wrong. But the person that posted it is one who would know so...

If I were you, I'd take credence in what that person said. I've heard lots of things that are just like that from my friends who worked at HQs. Most of it had to with Ohio from what I've heard, though. Kerry's a real rat bastard, IMO.
