I do find it amusing that thanks to a concientious fan , that news reached the man within minutes, while Rolling Stone and the 'royalty' place/whatever it's called, are at a loss.

I know! It's like magic. He probably ignores calls from management like i do from creditors But i'm glad you got it to him. He's probably the least paid out of all the members...

I guess these royalties are from stuff like The Chain and Station Man (is that ever played on the radio?!) where he has a writing credit? Whatever it's from, he deserves it.

Yep. he sure does! The chain is played fairly often. never hear station man. but i guess that kind of thing piles up. Wait, he wouldn't get royalties for anything else? really? geesh.

Yes'm, I hear Station Man from time to time on a local classic rock station here in Oregon. (Was it KGON? Had to have been.) Always puts a smile on my face cuz I really love that oldie.

I'm laughing so hard right now!!! Yes, I was joking that you should contact him, because I too thought, "Well, if it's printed in Rolling Stone, surely news would have reached him by now." I mean, when that magazine, especially, finally hits newsstands, half the stuff in it is months and months old already!

But thanks for zapping him a note! And I too would like to hear how it all comes out, if you ever hear. Perhaps we should contact a news organization or two: "Obsessed Fans Act As Famous Bassists' Accountant". Perhaps a press release is in order...
