I say teach Sharon to play the keyboard and make her an official band member, she has been around long enough

I would like to see them without all the backing band. I go to see an FM tribute band here in the UK and it's just 5 of them. And the sound is amazing. No need for any extras. Would love to see FM doing it that way. Of course they would have to get Christine back.....

Mick isn't the greatest drummer around, so any diminishing of his drumming talents is quite obvious.

Me, too. Actually, i'd let one go. (not sharon) But to be honest, I think Stevie's voice needs the support, or she thinks it does. I think one would be plenty, because i don't like how the backup singer's tones are so pure, i think they take a lot of the edge out of the vocal...

OMG, not Clem Burke. The drummer from Blondie right. I think he's not that good at all.

I'd rather hear Stevie not hit the high notes than be able to hear Sharon and that horrible cow sounding thing Jana..yuck she is just terrible

Brett is fine, love him..and Carlos could even come in on a few songs...but I think they should throw out Neale, and Steve Rinkov, and Jana

to do to see this is watch any of the better filmed bootleg videos of the 2003-2004 tour. It's really strange to see a second drummer on stage (Steve Rinkov) to thicken the percussive sound.

Do any of you more technical people like Brian, David and Chili know exactly HOW MUCH help the BG musicians are giving Mick and Lindsey. I'm going to take a wild guess and say Mick is getting more drum help then Lindsey is guitar help. We can safely say John is the only Mac member going it alone. He's the lone bass player. Something for John to be proud of.

I have of the 2003-2004 shows Mick is definitely benefiting more from the backing percussive musicians and with the 2 extra guitarists (Three if ya consider when Brett Tuggle plays acoustic) it seems Linds' doesnt have to carry much of a load rhythm guitar wise as he would in the older touring days (1975-1982) and can focus more on leads & vocals.

I agree, John does it without a net...God bless the bass players!

Lindsey's getting more help than you think. Listen to all the guitar chording going on during his solos. Listen to the Buffalo boots, when his guitar isn't working during Come- the other descending guitar riff that's still being played. Listen to LIB, when he's slapping the neck of his guitar with both hands(which, btw, sounds like crap, though it's barely audible), there's still plenty of "proper" guitar sound in the mix, and it sure ain't coming from Linds...
So Christine left the band, and it took ten people to replace her........
