AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Me and my mom have a running family joke. We're pretty cool and outdoorsy, not prissy or city at all, but, our phrase for ourselves when a bee, etc. comes is "Hearty pioneer women chased hither and yon by killer bumblebees..." cause we're so stupid, we'll flee the house screaming, waving our arms around, till my dad comes in, rolls his eyes, and catches said bee....

Did I mention how much i love my cat? He always catches and eats the bugs...he's so fast. Such a good boy...
Oooh, wasps are worst than bees, I can't possibly stand them.

Hehe, my cats eat flies all the time, but when it comes to something scary they're the first ones to run away.

They sure are....i'm not as scared of bees, really. But bugs in general kinda freak me out. Spiders are kinda cool, cause they eat other, grosser bugs
LOL at your cat - tell the big mooch to start earning it's keep! Actually, my other cat, siamese, is completely useless, and noisy and barfy to boot! at your scooby dream.....

Pretty much anything that flies and can hurt me I am totally freaked out by..

Amber - I am totally the running/screaming type when it comes to bees...I pretty make an ass of myself - though had I had wasps in my home I'm pretty sure I would have gone into cariac arrest

I had a bee experience recently too - I came out of a grocery store and was face to face with a bee - so I give some sort of embarassing wimper and run to my car....I get to my car and am thinking all is well - I continue to load groceries into my trunk - when two bees who appear to be mating or something land on my shoulder...

Well I'm pretty much frozen with fear not knowing what the hell to do....so I think - maybe if I whip my backback off really fast the straps will knock the bees off and I can run - so I do that but the strap misses the bees completely...so hahaha...this is the sad part - my shirt was a button-down shirt (with snaps - not buttons) so I considered unsnapping my shirt - throwing it and the bees to the ground and running - luckily it didn't come to that - the bees left my shoulder - and I ran away - I'm pretty sure I gave whoever happened to be watching in the parking lot quite a show - thank goodness I don't know anyone yet haha

I've always liked spiders and snails but I prefer mammals.

Just about the only thing my cats do is eat and sleep. They *occasionally* go outside for a little while, and they like flies... More to chase them than eat them I suppose. I have a siamese cat too. She's the only one who was actually active, but now she's old and hardly ever gets out of the house. I'm glad I have a dog!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Omigod, you're whole story cracked me up, like, tears and loud laughs, but especially the above sentence...oh, i'm glad you're ok (as if a bee could kill you) but that is quite a run in, indeed, and so funny. When i had my wasps, the first one got ON THE TOP OF MY BEADED CURTAIN, ie, the highest point in my house without being on the ceiling - and I literally did not take my eyes off it for 40 min. not even to watch Simpsons. I wasn't losing sight of that f*****, so your logic in bee dealings TOTALLY makes sense to me...

Yeah - at least something that'll go outside with you! I love animals - I wish i could have a dog, too, but that's why i'm glad i have my dog-cat. He fetches, eats bugs, plays, you know....follows me around, sleeps with me, wants me to pick him up...total pisces cat sweetness....

I love animals too. I also had a turtle but had to give her away because she was growing and I had no space for her.

My younger dog spends all his time outside and has way too much energy (there is no middle ground with my pets - either they're too lazy or too active) but she's very sweet, a great company and loves to play.

How blessed you are. Everyone who walks by me with a dog, I have to pet it. Dog love is so pure and sweet...

Oh, I'm the same. I always have to stop and pet a dog on the street when I see one too.

I hope you're able to get a dog someday, but you have your cats, so it's cool. I don't think I could live without my cats... or dogs.

Oh - I want a dog so bad!! Of course I go and rent a place that doesn't allow pets - and I've very allergic to cats So not pets for me...but one day I want lots of doggies...I just love them so...

Amber - glad my story made you laugh - I'm totally aware of how ridiculous it is - and how ridiculous my fear of bees is - and what an utter ass I usally make of myself if a bee is near - I've come to accept it haha...
