Cool Hearing Bush Speak

I would be very surprised if he articulates his own position instead of bashing Kerry... ps: check to see if his cue cards are written in crayon!

My fashion suggestion would be to wear what you would wear if you had front row seats to a Gallagher show. And, take along some Febreze.

At least you won't have to take a dictionary to look up any big words.

This is my first time posting on here in ages, but I heard that in New Mexico, people attending the Bush-Cheney rally were required to sign a 'loyalty oath' or something of the like. The Republican Senator from Minnesota later debunked that myth, but I'm not sure I quite believe him. So if you have to do that, let us know.

I'd love to go to a Bush rally, just to see the how the other side lives.

But no way in hell would I sign a loyalty oath. Peace -

Yes--The Bush campaign has been carefully screening the audiences that King George speaks to. Expect lots of softball questions and fawning comments made by the kool-aid drinkers.

Sorry if I'm behind, but I heard that Lil' Georgie Dumbass was giving a 'pro-life' speech recently and used the word "feces" instead of "fetus" throughout the entire speech. God help us all. Seriously.

That's almost as bad as when he waved at Stevie Wonder to get his attention.

Hey, you scoff... but I'm telling you, Stevie Wonder can SEE! He's been fooling us for all these years, but Our President is too smart to fall for it!
In an attempt to out the sighted Mr. Wonder, he orchestrated a very clever trick which was fiendish in its intricacies!

Unfortunately, that Stevie is even more fiendish and even more clever than poor George could have suspected!
But if it had worked, you'd all be praising him right now!!!

That's hilarious But I do happen to agree with Bush on this issue. Stop calling it a Women's Right to Choose and start calling in what it really is: Baby Killing.

Did you agree with Bush from 1978 till the late 1990s when he claimed to be pro-choice?

In 1978, Bush, who was 31 at the time, was seeking the Republican nomination in Texas' 19th Congressional District. He was in a fierce battle with a man named Reese (I think). To distinquish himself from the other candidate Bush told the Avalanche Journal that he opposes the pro-life amendment favored by the other candidate and favors leaving up to a woman and her doctor the abortion question. So Bush, just like his father USED to support abortion rights. His father supported a woman's right to choose all the way up till he became Reagan's running mate in 1980.
When running against Ann Richards in 1994 he avoided the abortion issue completely by saying "it's not an issue right now" and "the USA has settled the abortion issue."

So which stance of Bush's do you support? His previous pro choice stance, or his new stance of pro-life that he now uses ?

Chris

Then there was the Bush flip-flop on the whole "I'm against the 9/11 commission" then he was for it. He was against Condi testifying before said commission, and then he was for it. He was against the idea of a Centralized Intelligence Czar, and now he's for it. The list goes on and on and on and on. . . . .

My favorite being the Washinton Times May 2002 headline "Bush Rejects Probe of 9/11: Will Not Give Up Sensitive Terror Papers." LOVE that headline.

And remember how the families of the 9/11 victims wanted Warren Rudman from New Hampshire to chair the commission once Bush bowed to public pressure? No, Bush said, I want...Henry Kissinger! Then Kissinger resigned three weeks later because, according to him, he didn't want to disclose secrets regarding his financial "conflicts of interest."

Yet all the right-wing assholes praise Bush for his "swift and resolute" action when it comes to investigating 9/11.

They actually wanted to implement a Czar EIGHT MONTHS before 9/11, but Bush shot the idea down. The Gary Hart and Scott Rudman commission issued three national security reports and they pushed for the creation of not only an Intelligence Czar, but a Homeland Security Agency. So, essentially, the 9/11 commission's report gave the exact same advice that we were given four years ago. It's a farce.

Don't even get me started on how they try to blame Clinton for terrorism. My personal favorite argument from the right is how the WTC '93 bombing happened under his watch and he did "nothing." It's rather silly when you consider that Clinton had only been in office for 38 days when the WTC was attacked. And Bush was in office for nine months, deciding not to implement any of the suggestions or policies that the Clinton administration told them to implement.
