It's 2007....They will do an album....tour...but only 40 dates, 'cuz Chris hates to tour....and Liddy will still be talking about his solo project.

Default Heres what I think...

The way I see it from the Destiny Rules documentary, Lindsey was talking to John about doing this for "four or five years" from 2002 so 2007 would be a realistic timeframe. He also mentioned that for him to commit to the band he would want a lengthy tour followed by another album and one more tour after that..

LB will now finish off his solo album in his newly paid for studio and get it released to critical acclaim but it won't sell amazingly well..

Stevie will release a solo album followed by a tour which will sell very nicely.

The band will regroup in January 2006 for the follow up to Say You Will and most likely a final group studio album, with a view to a final all out tour.

Late 2006/early 2007 they will tour with a guess of something similar to this current tour. Paying one final visit to Europe, Australia, Canada etc before a final leg of the States finishing in LA or even the Bay area...

1967 Fleetwood Mac forms, 1977 Rumours released, 1987 Lindsey leaves, 1997 Lindsey rejoins and they tour again, 2007 one final album and tour to mark 40 years of Fleetwood Mac and 30 years since Rumours..... Thankyou and goodnight after that, retirement calls....

LOL

God I hope not!

It's bad enough I couldn't afford the "Say You Will" tour.

Hey, who says they won't reunite sooner to perform at the Kerry Inaugural Ball?

I spoke with Mick Fleetwood personally in Adelaide as we knocked back some Hennesy. He said, as one would expect, that a new album is not out of the question but entirely dependant on what Stevie and Lindsey want to do after this tour.

Someone else posted that solo albums would ensue post-tour. My money is on that - especially as far as Stevie is concerned.

Cheers
Rochelle

Thanks for the info, thats really re-assuring to hear. I reckon they will do another album too with Christine, just a feeling I have, now that she's done her solo album, I reckon she will have the bug to get back with the Mac and do a final tour in a couple of years.

I read the interview at fleetwoodmac.com and it sounds like there isn't going to be another fleetwood album unless lindsey is corrupted into making one, at least that is what I got from it.

I hope they do make another album, with Christine on board, and hope they never grow tired of making music apart and together

what is with everyone saying Stevie's the one who's going to be releasing a solo albu,m and Lindsey's going to either rest or take time releasing his album. Have you guys had your heads in the ground the past month or so. Lindsey has basically confirmed that HE will be releasing a solo album in 2005. He also said Stevie is tired and needs a rest. So I think Lindsey will release his album, do a 3 month tour then do Fleetwood Mac. And Stevie will just wait until Fleetwood Mac.

Well Stevie has said herself on the ASK STEVIE on Nicksfix she will put out another solo record after this tour concludes....

Lindsey said he hopes to have an album out by Spring 2005 unless that is "intervened upon by a Fleetwood Mac album" as his albums often are...so who knows
