I usually go for baked, with butter (well, diet margarine now that I'm on a diet), S&P. And I eat the skins, with more butter and S&P. Yummy!

My mom also did homefries (fried with onions) when I was a kid, and every now and then I'll make them. They are really greasy, though.

Garlic mashed potatoes would be my next choice, and then french fries.

OT, but did you see that McDonald's is offering apple slices and caramel dip instead of fries for Happy Meals? What kid is gonna choose apple over french fries??? Not mine, that's for sure!

Well it completely depends on what the entree is! I love potatoes, but certain kinds go with certain entrees. With steak it would be a baked potato with butter and sour cream (and yes I eat the skin, too), hamburgers mean fries, anything with gravy requires mashed potatoes and a sandwich must have chips on the side. Oh yeah, eggs and hash browns. Yum.

Give me McDonalds french fries and hash brown any day. They taste sooooooooooo good. They do however, give me the runs afterwards . I guess that's the price I pay for eating such things. BTW Jake, garlic mashed potatoes are awesome. They go good with honey baked ham.

Talking I'm a...

French Fry ADDICT. Anywhere I go, it's french fries. I love a baked potato every once in a while too, but french fries are it.

I remember when I was little, I was sick and my mom made me some french fries and I drank water.

Believe it or not, I've never been a chips fan. (No, not the show. )
I can do hash browns, but NO eggs! Blechh!

Such a short thread, but you manage to get in mentions of the runs and ham. Think I'll skip lunch.

Curly fries are pretty good, I'll admit.
