Screw that, it's called an absentee ballot. Fill it out, copy it, have it notarized, then send it with signature confirmation.

Anyone else interested in helping out should go to www.hrc.meetup.com I am the host for the Odessa/Midland meetup, and even though we only have 9 members at present, this is an incredible way to get grassroots efforts off the ground.
The ANTI-Marriage Amendment may be a federal problem, but there are still many state and local laws prohibiting recognition of same sex marriages...

I should let Lux's well-worded response suffice, but I'll bite.
Why should you want to help homosexuals?
Because we're your sons, brothers, cousins, uncles, best friends, neighbors, co-workers, sports heroes, music idols, favorite authors, and on and on and on.
Not to mention the fact that we're human beings.

And if that's not good enough, then think of it this way... right now it might be our civil rights that they're trying to deny, but what would happen if some fool-hardy politician wanted to deny you of your civil rights?
If and when that happens, I hope someone has enough compassion to want to help you, rather than just thinking of themselves.

Well, I always say it's better to know up front exactly how one feels. Kudos to you for cluing us all in to your true nature- although one doesn't exactly have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure it out from your other enlightened posts.

Rock on, dude!!
