On the subject of Sloane, I have no idea what to make of that. He was never mentioned in Syd's missing two year period so he very well could have been involved but then again, he may not have been. I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later the part he played in all of that...they did allude to Sloane having a vested interest in Rambaldi when they spoke of Sark so it seems they don't want you to forget, Sloane was the one who wanted all of this to begin with, IMO.

I wish Alias was on everynight.
I noticed the screen, too. However, it probably won't come into play until the middle of next season.

I do think Sloane had a major part in this. It adds a new dimension to the hit from a few episodes ago. Remember Lindsey of the NSC wanted Sloane to put a hit out on Syd, but Sloane put one out on him instead? I bet he did so to ensure the safety of Syd's eggs, not because he cared about her.

I wish it was on everynight, too. It is MADDENING having to wait a week until the next episode. I'm ready to commit suicide when they put it on hiatus for the summer.

You know what I've been thinking, for the season finale, Lena Olin will be back. It won't happen until the very end of the episode, but I think she'll be back.

PS: Did you notice that the man giving Syd (Julia) the orders to stab that man that was tied to the chair was Quentin Tarantino?!

I think Sloane cares about her BECAUSE she is the chosen one and he is so obsessed with Rambaldi and his predictions...Sydney is a part of that. I used to think it would come out that Sloane was actually Sydney's father..who knows? They may throw that in at some point

As much as I would love for Lena Olin to come back (because I LOVED her on this show), I don't think that's going to happen. The reason why she's not on this season is because she asked for more money (she did get a nomination for her role in the show last season if memory serves) and they didn't give it to her. I don't know if she'll be back. I hope she will come back though...that was an amazing storyline and she played the part SO well.

I didn't notice that it was Quentin Tarantino...I taped it last night so i'll have to go back and look!! Remember, he was on last season before the destruction of SD6 and he played someone trying to take over. I can't remember what happened to him but obviously, he wasn't killed if somewhere in that missing two years, Sydney came in contact with him. I guess this means Tarantino is the head of the covenant?!?

Information. Overload. Yep.

Actually, they met every single one of her demands but she still said no! She wanted $150 grand an episode and they said yes, then she changed her mind!! I was so pissed. I still think she'll be back sometime, though, because she said the reason she declined was because it wasn't the "right time to come back." Whatever that means.

I just don't know how they're going to top the other two season finales. But I'm sure they'll come up with something to make us go "What the fuuuuuuuuuuccccccc..."

Those f*ckers at ABC need to be hung!!! They start it off and say "In Three Weeks..." and then show the BEST and MOST SHOCKING preview for an upcoming show!!! Sloane as Syd's father?! Vaughan killing Lauren?! Who the HELL was in that mask?!

ARRRRGGGGGGGHHH!

The people at ABC? Bastards. WE'VE ALREADY WAITED THREE WEEKS FOR ONE EPISODE AND NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER THREE?!?!?! WTF?!?!

I had a feeling it would come out that Sloane was Syd's father.... i've felt this way ever since he decided to not kill her allll that time ago. Perhaps he's head tripping with the therapist though. Vaughan NEEDS to kill Lauren. But you know they're going to run with this storyline for a while....she's not going anywhere this season.

I am a huge Alias fan! I really love this show... it is just so fast paced and really confuses you at times... LOL.

Watching last night's episode, I kind of figured that Sloane was really Sydney's father. All that stuff with Lauren didn't surprise me in the least. I didn't like her from the beginning and knew she was really working for the opposition. I don't know who that person is behind the mask, but this show just gets better with every episode!

I can't believe though, that we have to wait three more freakin' weeks for a new episode. Didn't we wait long enough to see last night's episode?

They're more than bastards. They're...a word I shouldn't type here.

I don't think he's her father. They are just tripping us out. I'm glad they're giving Patricia Wettig a story again, though!! Hopefully they'll add her to the cast (it's not that hard, she is Ken Olin's wife).

And I've a feeling Lauren won't live past this season.

Thumbs down Tonight Sucked!

Oh, Marissa.

Tonight was the first bad episode of our beloved show. It was just terrible. It was pretty much just a rehash of the commercial. On a positve note, though, I hope the good ole Doc becomes a regular and that Lena Olin comes back SOON to fix this Sloane business. And bring her sister back for good measure.

And did you see that the rest of the year will be all new episodes?! Great news!!!

I opted to watch The Sopranos and Curb Your Enthusiasm (which made me laugh hysterically) instead and taped Alias. I just finished watching it....

That blew. Totally lame. I do think the Doc will become a regular. I suspect she and Sloane will become an item. Why do I have a feeling there is more to this Doc character than meets the eye? Perhaps she's working for someone else or am I just Fox Mulder-ing the situation??

Oye. What am I going to do next week??? Alias, Sopranos, or 90 minutes of Fleetwood Mac....

If you even have to stop and think about that, i'm voting you off my island. Seriously.

There has to be more to her than what's being shown. Why would she just decide to fly out there to talk to Sloane for no real reason? They might be hitting the sheets soon.

As for next week...

Since there are no commercials and when i tape stuff, I like to edit out the commercials, I think I'll just tape FM and watch Alias.

Hono...I've waited MONTHS for this documentary...you best believe I'll be plopped in front of the TV for 90 minutes of total unadulterated drama

I wonder what next weeks episode will be like...hmm.....guess I'll have to wait until after 90 minutes of Fleetwood Mac to find out

In two weeks. Ugh.

I've a feeling Irina will be back soon. And I totally think that Weiss is a bad guy.

Lauren? Utter bitch. I can't wait to see her perish. Preferably in flames.

And Garner looks amazing with those abngs. She should keep them.

Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. And did I mention, agreed?

Lauren needs to bite the dust. However, you know she won't die. Vaughn isn't going to believe she's a double agent for the next 5 shows, then the season will be over with him finally coming to the realization that she is. Instead of waiting two weeks for a new episode, we'll be waiting months

So her mother is obviously an agent as well. I have a feeling you'll see a standoff between Lauren and Sydney and then Irina and Lauren's mother How funny would that be?? Irina will be back...this season needs her.

I have season one and two on DVD, it is a great show. I have missed season three because I always seem to not be able to catch the show on Sunday nights, but hopefully it will come out on DVD before season 4 so I can catch up, it really is one of the best shows on tv.

Agreed.

I know I'm going to be called an asshole for this, but I like having Lauren around. She adds a great layer of mystery to the show. But I do want to see the evil witch die at the end of the series. What if they made her pregnant...with Sark's kid?! That would be totally awesome. Or if they made her and Syd sisters.

And I want center seats for the Lena Olin vs. Peggy Lipton showdown. That would be fantastic. And not only do they need to bring Irina back, but they need to bring her sister back, too. I REALLY liked her, her episode was great. I loved the ending to her show where Jack said thank you and she said "That's what family is for" and then she kissed him *passionately*. That rocked. In the end, I think Olin is coming back, but they're keeping it hush-hush so that it's a shocker. I mean, c'mon, they already started writing her back in with the whole Rambaldi box.

And when the hell are they going to make Patricia Wettig a regular? I? Love her.

As far as I know, season three is going to be released on DVD the first week of September. Be forewarned, though, this season is *very* dark. But it's still fantastic.

And has anyone heard of the Alias movie? Abrams was talking about it last year and he said that they got the greenlight from Disney to start developing it for when the show goes off the air. I haven't heard anyhting since.
