Thumbs up shocked speechless!

UNBELIEVABLE!! But that's great that Lindsey and Stevie took a stand and put a stop to that kind of bull****.

I'd given a month's salary to have seen it in person!

Now my mind is wandering...imagining Lindsey jumping into the fray....Stevie close behind, jumping on the dude's back, scratching him mercilessly with those nails....

Default Trouble in Manchester

It was great to see thta Lindsey was not willing to let that sort of thing go unnoticed. He was very angry about the whole situation. Stevie did say 'HOW DARE YOU, HOW DARE YOU BEHAVE LIKE THAT, NOW GET OUT.....GET OUT OF OUR CONCERT!'
She cewrtainly didn't swear, and she did ppoint her finger towards the exits.

Just a thought on that situation....

I think, when people are being allowed to stand at the front of a gig (which is very exciting and all) it gets people standing or sitting behind worked up....so is really asking for trouble.

Manchester was fantastic optherwise though......

Dave

Well - except for the dude who was beaten up - those who went should feel pretty 'priveleged' - you'll be able to say that you went to 'that Manchester concert'!

That said ... *please let there be no fighting in Brisbane* :P

Manchester was utterly amazing, my friend and I went dressed as Lyndsey and Stevie and they (especially L) were lovin it! So much so that my mate Liz was the Come girl and at the end after they bowed L came up to us to thank us, saying 'you guys were great'! Im actually still recovering from this now. I then asked L to sign my White FM Cd cover then made him promise hed come back to England.
One thing, it was so difficult getting Stevie's attention, the professional that she is, she seems to have mastered the art of ignoring nutters like us screaming her name!! However after mouthing the word 'pleeeeeaaazze??' to her at the end she did come and shake my hand!

amazing.

I forgot to mention the fight which was right next to me...

it was at the start of tusk during the drum beat, L was about to start playing but saw these men fighting so he waited for a bit so theyd stop, when they didnt he shouted 'hey! stop fighting, get out!' at which point S came across and shouted 'how dare you! get out of our concert!' she was sooo cute, it obviously pissed her right off, u shouldve seen her face and the way she was smacking the tambourine during tusk!! as the lads who were fighting were leaving, they were giving L the fingers coz he was telling them to get out but S then gave the finger back! The entire audience started to boo the lads as they went!

Glad your friend was the 'come' girl! It's great fun! And you are right... Stevie can be hard to get a smile from but when you do it's such a great feeling!

Anywhere you go with thousands of people, theres gonna be crazy nuts...especially when half of them are drunk.

I dont know what caused this situation..but if ppl are fighting because of standing people ON THE FLOOR...that's ridiculous..people will stand at rock concerts, get over it

Mostly people are fighting because of alcohol! There were some drunken idiot there on Wednesday night trying to push their way to the front and being very rude.

Yes Pip I know!

Three of them stood next to myself and Wondergirl at the front during World Turning (which was wild btw!! Check out this attached picture I took at the show) Plus as a bonus
we got an interesting alternative drunken rendition of Goodbye Baby.....

Never heard Stevie shout it loudly out of key like that! haha....

The first show was amazing and the second gig was really great too..

Other than the now famous "Tusk incident" Stevie was as happy as I've seen her on stage, really enjoying it. She said some extra stuff too the second night about how she was so thrilled to be in Manchester and that the audience were amazing, she was really, really happy.. Then during Landslide, during the pause near the end, some guy shouted "Stevie!" and she just burst out laughing and had to recompose herself!

Very eventful gig.

Madformac that is a great photo!!!!

Thanks for more info about the show.... glad to see that Stevie was so happy!! Except of course, her showing that guy "the finger" and the door after he flipped Lindsey off! I hope someone got video or audio of this... I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Unfortunately no Pip, Gotta put some work in now!!!! The other "usual suspects" will be front row as usual. But I'm sure we'll meet again next time 'round. Enjoy the gig.

Justin.
