I agree, I didn't think she looked to bad either. Like Johnny said, she looked a little fuller, but nothing shocking or embarrasing. I think the really blonde hair and the pale skin may have made her seem washed out.

As for bursting into tears.... I'm sure it is pretty emotional. Can you imagine the numbers of people watching and the status they achieved from Bill. She has said that it was so heavy being there and that she was so proud that for that time, they were "The First Band of the United States".

Stevie looked good at the performance, I actually remember that performance even though I didn't know who Fleetwood Mac were back then... heh...

*nod* it is quite plain that Stevie was the most emotional about this performance and it meant the most to her. She's always been very patriotic and as she was one of the only 2 Americans in the band (Lindsey has said that he only did the performance because of how much he knew it meant to her). I'm sure they all felt honored in some way, but no one more than Stevie. She also said that that performance was really the end of FM for her because she didn't want to be in an FM that didn't include Lindsey. So I think, combined with her medical problems, it was emotional for her on many levels.

I didn't think she looked that bad either! She sounded really good from what I remember~ I was 11 when Clinton was sworn into office.

I just listened to the performance again, I think she sounded awful, like she wasn't into it. From watching the performance, it just doesn't look like she was happy, very sad. Maybe it had to do with the "reunion," maybe not, but she looked so withdrawn. She wasn't pale, she was incredibly pale. I think her costume made her look cartoonish.

And I wanna know who touched up thos photos!!! She looks awesome in those photos, but she didn't on TV!!!

The peformance wasn't set up like a Rock concert with a ton of speakers etc. there were very few speakers on stage, unless there were speakers hanging down which we couldn't see. It was also a live performance so there was no time to perfect the mix. And Grandmas and Grandpas were watching so I'm sure it was tamed down so not to offend their ears with a huge rock spectical

I haven't seen it in awhile, but Lindsey's guitar didn't really sound like it was even plugged in.

But, by the look of the people in the audience, it must have sounded pretty good, everyone was dancing.

Don't forget the bizarre tambourine hand off. Right after that, Michael Jackson jumped on the stage and she shot him the dirtiest look I've ever seen.

I believe this was the first time she had been on stage with Lindsey in quite a while. Stevie is very sentimental and I'm sure that was playing on her while she was up there along with "the drama of the moment."

I know! What was with that tambo?!

You'd have a dirty look on your face if you had to share a stage with Wacko Jacko. I remember when they were all lines up across the stage, Stevie was on one side of Clinton, Jacko on the other, and she had this look of disgust when she peered over and saw him with the mic. Ugh. She looked like she was about to bust out a can of whoopass on Jacko.

She had finally persuaded Mick & Lindsey to wear less eye makeup, and up comes Jacko in more makeup than she wore on the Rock a Little sleeve.
Besides, if you were feeling self-conscious about your weight, would you want to stand next to his scrawny ass during YOUR song?

Of course! Anyone who stand next to Whacko Jacko is guaranteed to look like a million bucks. Jacko has been pulled so tight that every time he crosses his legs, his mouth opens. He looks like he got his face stuck in a pool drain.

The older he gets the more he looks like Diana Ross and the older she gets the more she looks like he used to. "Ain't no mountian high enough..."

It hadn't been too long. Only two years. They were on stage for the last two shows for the Behind The Mask Tour in LA.
