all i have to say is that if i was in a position which would have brought me to the point where i can take such photos with the band or accept pre-released music by them- i would have been more revealing and open with my fellow ledgies.... still. cool pic.

Thanks again guys...enjoy.

We need more details! LOL! What did Stevie actually say to you? And Lindsey? Spill, spill, spill! hehe. How did you get to be backstage? I've heard that it has been almost impossible to get backstage on this tour

"Do I hear a second for that Motion?"

Strand replies most vehemently "I SECOND PIP's MOTION!!!" now spill it!!!!!

Seriously, I and many others would love more details if you feel comfortable telling them. If not, I and I am sure many others are enternally grateful for that great pic!!!!!!!!! Congrats again!

Very cool.

Of course, I could never put myself in that position. Ms. Nicks would surely fall for me, and Mrs. Carne would be pissed.

especially if you introduced yourself in the all too familiar four chord/note pattern La Nicks gravitates toward

Okay guys….here is the scoop:

I left for LA last Tuesday for a short vacation and to attend the two LA shows. I went to Carmel for two days (what a beautiful, magical place) and then returned to LA for the shows.

A friend of mine in the ad/entertainment/retail industry had been trying for several weeks to obtain two passes to meet the band after the first LA show, but to no avail. I had two seats in the sixth row, but knew from the previous six shows on this tour I had been to, that the front-row people the only ones permitted to stand at the stage – I was real thirsty for that!

On the road between Carmel and LA I felt some pretty good Karma, so I grabbed the cell phone and called Ticketmaster. Low and behold, I land a front row seat!

That evening as I approached the box office window to pick up my ticket, I told Andrew to go to the window next to me to double check if anything was there for him.

Surprise! There was an envelope with two Fleetwood Mac guest passes! Thought I met them at the Today Show in April, I was still high as a kite to be meeting them again!

Perhaps the coolest moment came during the show. I stayed at the stage the whole time in awe of my idols. At the end of “Go Your Own Way” Lindsey hopped off the main stage onto the lower part where the monitors are, kneeled right in front of me and motioned for me to play his guitar! I strummed for what seemed like forever! This is one of my most memorable moments.

After the show, we were taken to a hospitality suite where we waited for the band. While waiting, we were given some brief instructions: 1. No autographs would be signed, 2. Keep conversation to a minimum, 3. “Miss Nicks”, under doctor’s orders, cannot speak much as she has a show tomorrow night – please don’t think she’s being rude and 4. The band will take a photo with you. Nice! This is a great addition to the photo I have with them from the Today Show – with Stevie in her fur!

Then it was our turn to meet the band. First I thanked Lindsey for letting me play his guitar. He laughed and said “yeah! You were the guy in the front!” he was very nice. Then I went to Stevie and basically told her what is said to her in NY: “There are so many things that I can say to you, but mostly I want to thank you for sharing your words with us over the years”. She was extremely gracious and thanked me twice. She is so beautiful guys!

Andrew told them how we came in from NY to see the shows and they were thankful. Then I said I would see them tomorrow night again and they were happy. Then I we had to leave. Once finished with the band, security rushes you out of the room…oh how I wish I could have gotten back on line!!

Anyway, that was my experience.

A note to Tommer: Appreciate the information you are given and the things shared with you. Several months ago you were a complete ledgie stranger to me. I extended myself to you with some information out of Stevie/Mac kindness. Because I didn’t reproduce this information for you personally (and you knew I was restricted from doing so), you were relentlessly obnoxious and posted negative things about me.

Anybody that knows me knows I would share anything I CAN. I’m not special. I’m not “connected” or anything like that. I am a fan like the rest of us but and I respect people. I expect the same back.

Thanks to all of my Stevie/ Mac friends for allowing me to share and for understanding when I couldn’t. I look forward to hearing all of the other fans’ stories throughout the tour and in the future and I also look forward to meeting many of you both here and in person!

Experiences like these should be treasured. This is what life is all about!

Hope you enjoyed my experience and thanks again to Marissa for her help.

Peace,

Bob

Bob, you are so lucky. I could never really meet any of the members of Fleetwood Mac, because then it would turn into a constant cycle of fainting and regaining consciousness. On a side note: Is it just me, or does Stevie look great. At, first I couldn't believe it. The cool thing about the SYW-era of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie is looking younger. I still cannot believe you (Bob) got to meet them...You're so freakin' lucky!
