I’m in the airport on the way home from a trip and this image made me laugh—paying people to light up a liar sign each time she revises FM history! Hilarious.

I don't often post because I find misinformation and BS being pushed as an opinion as completely disingenuous. Back into the cave I go.

Hey, I love Lindsey’s solo stuff and his career has been artistically more rewarding than any of the others. To hear it disparaged by Stevie fans would bug me, too. I like Stevie’s solo stuff (spotty as it is) and love Christine’s. But Lindsey is the only one of the three to have forged something original—something distinct from his band work. I’m less enthusiastic about the mid-80s work (including his Tango songs) but recognize their excellence. But all of the solo stuff from Cradle onward has been a gift from a very strange god! And Law and Order is amazeballs.

Welcome to The Ledge, Mr. Gloff and friends from Phonogenics. You will see this is a welcoming place where balance and respect are paramount.

The Phonogenics podcasts have gotten a lot of positive attention on the Ledge in the past. This one just did not sit well with some people — and I understand why.

For what it’s worth, I’ve watched a number of their previous videos. I saw Mirage, Tusk, and Tango. Even when the group is discussing a Christine or Lindsey song, conversation often steers towards Stevie and stays there for minutes on end. That can be a sore spot for those of us who see that for many Fleetwood Mac has become Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac.

I just remember the one for Time where one of them said it wasn't Fleetwood Mac because Stevie wasn't on it.

I mean, why bother reviewing something your prejudices already won't allow you to hear something for what it is and not what it isn't (and wasn't trying to be)?

You're welcome. Always happy to make you smile.

It could be like the L O E V letters in Love Will Show Us How. Every time she lies, they appear and dance a circle around her.

I hope they've got some good shoes!

I am a huge fan of this series. Sometimes I actually post them here before Jeremy. I love the different perspectives. Its fun when someone has the same perspective as you or likes a song for the same reason.
But as you know everything is fair game on this board. The ledge board comes up frequently on these Phonogenics discussions. We are discussed there just like they are discussed here. These videos are so entertaining that sometimes they have made me late for work. Jeremy's Stevie imitations are hysterical. He is so good that I think he could have a nightclub act. I would be there every night. He knows his stuff.

Even assuming you do have all your facts straight, it's another completely thing to spout them correctly in an unscripted environment live on camera! I'd like to think maybe Jeremy & co's efforts will also help inspire even more diverse FM fan voices to try their hands at putting out a podcast or the like?

True. Many of us here are fans from the late 70s or early 80s. But there are new fans that came along post Dance and SYW. They have a completely different perspective than most of us here. Most of them admit they are Stevie fans and not thrilled about some of the Mac's other work. That's ok. Its a different perspective and has its place somewhere. I am defending them but like the OP, I too turned it off on many occasisons because it went too far down the rabbit hole of insanity. But you know what, its so addicting that I go back and continue watching LOL
Having said that, because they are mostly Stevie fans, their perspective of Stevie albums is a joy to watch. One guy who was on the RAL video was such an expert. He knew so much that I forgot about. Its a shame he was only on one of them.
I think they are doing Christine solo albums next. Jeremy is awesome. He is funny and so patient to let them rattle on forever. He respects and appreciates everyone's opinion.

Another great image—the love dancers. Or the flaming guitar hitting the piano each time a bit of the band’s history is reframed to suit her.

“In 1975, ‘Landslide’ shot Fleetwood Mac right into the stratosphere.”

LOL!! I love y'all I'm not offended by any comments. I know sometimes things go off the rails but it's just a bunch of people donating their time having fun.

Off the top of my head:
Lindsey's solo album in the 90s was "Out Of The Cradle" right? I also feel he was supposed to release an album called "Gift Of Screws" years before the actual album materialized. I knew "Under The Skin" didn't come until much later.

There's only one Mac album left then this part of the series is over!
