Your favorite pain killer/sedative/muscle relaxer

According to some, being knocked out for a few days is the whole point of taking these pills. I can't believe nobody picked Soma. My granny would down a handful of those, then try to go to town on a chicken leg, and nearly choke to death. That was funny. Took my mind off the times she'd stagger around, trying to chase me down to beat me with her house shoe. Ah, memories.

Xanax is kind of the oddball in this group, isn't it? I take it daily as a sedative for anxiety. I usually think of the other pills as something you take for pain. Either way, I hate xanax. I took two a day for YEARS, finally got myself down to one a day, or I guess one a night. I only take it so I'll sleep well. I've never taken the others, but honestly after being on Xanax for so long, I wouldn't want to take any. I hate feeling tired, out of it, and unambitious.

I know what you mean. This time last year I was very depressed over the end of an eight year relationship. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep...I was a mess. So, my Dr. put me on lexapro and xanax. The pills worked wonders as I was able to focus on work again and I was able to sleep, certainly. But after about 2 months I started to feel like a zombie, so I slowly got off the meds and by April I was good to go.

Every now and then, after a stressfull day, I pop a vicodin and have a glass or two of wine and life is GOOD!

i chose vicodin, but i don't particularly care for anything on this list.

whatever my ailment happens to be, i always take the same thing: VALIUM.

good god, i loves me some valium.
