I called the box office. After about 20 minutes, I finally got through. You're still going to need the All Access password, which they did NOT send out, apparently.

I did not. She would not give them to me. She said I had to have the All Access password. I said "gift" but that wasn't it.

They don't seem to have sent it. I was on hold for 20 minutes and gave up in the end once I saw here that the password was needed.

Well, you have the right to complain to someone, but I don't. I didn't actually sign up for All Access. I thought I could slide in.

So does no one have the password for this one then? Seems weird that they wouldn't send it out but still ask for it.

I just rang them and said they didn't send out the password. We're in Tier 1 row B

Ok, I called and got right through (no hold this time) and when I said Lindsey Buckingham she just said "ok" and I got row D. But I could have gotten better seats, if she had realized they didn't send out a password when I first called.

Yeah, I'm now wishing I didn't hang up that first time but I'm still really happy with what I got. Just have to wait for the San Diego packages to become available on Saturday now (and steal my friend's Royce ticket )

Default Grove-Scalping Their Own Tickets Maybe?

Here's something to ponder. Is the Grove scalping their own tickets? Could be.

I noticed this afternoon that one broker, just five short hours after the pre-sale started, has 16 Tier 1, Row B seats out of 30. This is not a venue with season ticket subscriptions so they didn't come from season ticket holders. No one that I know got the password until hours after the presale started ( I got mine about 12:30 p.m. and it says that it was sent until 12:04 p.m.) and the best that we could do was row D after the box office ticket agents allowed us to order tickets without the AllAccess password. One person, Peestie got Row B, but the rest of us got row D-me included.

There is something a foul a foot and I'm going to call and see what happened.

Cool Grove

Here's the Down-Low:

Just got off the phone with the Grove's Box Office Manager, Sheila Blomgren. She's blaming it on the marketing department. Frankly, I could care less who is at fault. It's not the why or the how but the what: The what being some Friends of the Grove did not get their password until 12:04:11 p.m. today (two hours after the pre-sale started) and ended up with tickets in the fourth row, while other, perhaps closer Friends (i.e., brokers and/or their minions) not only got their password/tickets in time, but snapped up more than half the second row and are now selling said tickets for $100 over face. What is even more telling is that all Tier 1 tickets have been sold and the general sale isn't being held until Saturday. What's going to happen then?

I remember two or three years ago a similar thing happened with U2 and they nullified those sales. Wonder what we can do? Well if you're effected and you care to equalize the playing field then let your voice be heard.

If you would like to contact Sheila here is her phone number and e-mail address. She works for Nederlander.
