I'd love to have copies of her three solo albums all packaged into one box set with phots, notes, various outtakes, alternate takes, etc.
It'll never happen. |

You saw what happened when the arenas sold out and $he was making that Christine speech in 2014-2015 (and making it about her bringing her back).
$he got jealous, refused to record, went on her demo$ tour and eventually got people fired!! Christine is scared.

I would love for her version of "I Can't Help Falling In Love" from the "It's a Fine Mess" Soundtrack to be on her Anthology!

I vote for Too Much Is Not Enough
I did not have MTV in 1984 but I heard Chris say they performed the song on MTV to promote her album. Boy I wish we could get that MTV footage and also her Entertainment Tonight segment when she was touring in early 1984.

A Christine McVie anthology would need to include at least one or two of her songs with Chicken Shack. She played an incredible blues piano, and it was the lead instrument on her songs. I didn't like Chicken Shack as a band -- the lead singer was a shrieker as both a vocalist AND a guitarist -- but the handful of songs Christine did with them are mighty fine.
I sometimes wonder what would have happened if, instead of quickly veering off into the pop world, Chris had stuck with the blues. As she developed both her songwriting and keyboard skills, if her popularity continued along the arc that her solo album set her upon, she could have become the Bonnie Raitt of the blues piano.

The instrumental version is on the documentary which was interesting that they featured it even though it wasn't on the album.

Yes she was obviously very proud of the song even though it was not on the album. I believe she did every song on the album except Whos Dreaming This Dream. She instead threw in this song.

The show I saw in 1984. She did Too Much Is Not Enough. I have a bootleg of it somewhere.
