Not to mention, McDonald's specifically markets their menu structure at kids who come home to no parents in the more urban areas. Put it this way, what is the McDonald's in you area like between 3 and 6 in the afternnon. Every one I see has school kids in it and they have about $5.00 to spend, which is exactly where McDonald's menu is at.

In the end, there is nothing on the menu there that, when eaten every day, is in any way great for you. So, yes, eaten in moderation it is okay. But, when kids go there everyday essentially out of necessity, it is a bad thing.

Banning anything should never be the response to bad parenting.

Kind of like when the government introduced crack to the ghetto, huh? Slimy bastards.

Ah, forget it. Nevermind.

I disagree with you there. Heterosexuals should be banned as a result of bad parenting.

Yes. That's why I eat at McDonald's about twice a year now, compared to my previous couple times a month.

True - but that is a bit of non-reality there. In many urban areas, you are dealing with a single mom who works two jobs and lives in govt. sub. housing. I think the vast majority of those mom's are trying their best, but they cannot be there when the kids get home. So, in a perfect world, yes it is bad parenting. But, in that scenario, which I have seen first hand, what else are they going to do?

I had not eaten it in awhile and I had a Big Mac and fries - I could not finish it and it kind of made me sick while eating it. I also noticed the size of the meat patty was a little like AOL size Seriously, it was this little peice of meat hidden in this huge bun. I was like "this is a rip off" because my meat used to be much larger than this.

lol! I almost said "breeders" instead of "heterosexuals", but took it back last minute. Glad it got thrown in there anyway.

And thanks Carrie. I have no idea why I've started posting more recently. I guess work is just ultra boring lately! That's okay, I'm getting paid for this.

I don't deny that.
But there's also something to be said for not bringing children into this world if you can't afford to raise them.

My mother wanted five kids... her and Dad could only afford two, so that's all they had.

There's a hell of a lot to be said for that, but unfortunately too many people don't agree, or are too dumb to care Hold on, this is where I start on about sterilising the stupid...

in a perfect world, you are right, and i think that's the case the majority of the time. but i know enough people who have fallen on hard times they couldn't have anticipated to stop me from saying/thinking that.
