I can't believe I forgot Meryl freakin' Streep. I love how non-acty she is. Every line delivered is so natural and never feels scripted.

Oh and I don't know if you guys know who he is, but I love, LOVE Sam Rockwell. Probably one of the most talented and underappreciated actors around. But I also was saying that about Phillip Seymour Hoffman this time last year and look at the ol' boy now!

1)Johnny Depp.( I don't like all of his movies, but he does not make mistakes in his choices)
2)Diane Keaton (I even liked the "Father of the Bride" because of her!)
3)Tom Hanks (I even liked "Ladykillers" because of him).
4)Benicio Del Toro(I'll just watch anything he is in )
5)Christopher Walken (He makes even silly movies watchable IMO. He is one of the reasons "The Deerhunter" is one of the best movies ever. And he made me cry in "Catch me if you can").

A bit off-subject, but I 'll also watch anything Steven Soderbergh directs.

Thumbs up

Whether they've always made good films, or the bad ones, these are a few of my favorite actors:

Christopher Lee
Michael Keaton
Samuel L. Jackson
Johnny Depp
Ian McKellen
Liam Neeson
Sean Connery

oooooh...I'm so jeal. He's a Scorpio, too, and Phoebe Cates is a Cancer. You know I had to say that. But moving on -

I think Jeff Bridges is underrated, too - he's not quite a favorite though, although I definitely like some of his performances a lot. My mom loves him. Bill Murray is great, of course.
I used the criteria "would I see a movie just because they are in it?"

I almost wanted to add Peter O'toole and Michael Caine and Anthony Hopkins - but I guess they'd be right below that criteria...

I think you know I don't care much for Depp, although I wish I looked like him...
Owen Wilson is always funny, no matter what the rest of the movie is doing. I think he shares your sign as well, by the way.

I'd also like to add that I always enjoy watching Goldie Hawn, so she could probably be on my list - although I guess "can't go wrong" wouldn't apply in general, just for me.

Edit - Richard - Jeremy Irons is very hot to me, good choice. I only have real lust crushes on very few actor men, and he is one. Jack is the other.
And John Cusack! of course! He has to be on the list!

That was sad, because Diane Lane was in it, too. She's weird, though, she doesn't seem to pick her movies exceptionally well. Although, I really don't think she gets sent as many scripts, so she does okay for what she is sent. She has a few real good ones, though. I've always been sad she isn't more famous and popular.

I love Goldie, and, I'm a little embarrassed to say, Kurt Russell too. Actually if the criteria is "would I see a movie because they are in it" then I must of course add Mr Ferrell and The Rock I have no idea why I like The Rock so much, I just do.

Just looked, Owen Wilson is November 18, so he is a Scorpio. How do you always know these things Amber?
Because I don't like to think about important things, I remember actors birthdays instead. Goldie Hawn is the 20th, Meg Ryan and Jodie Foster are the 19th. (Yes, I'm the only one who loves Meg Ryan).

The Rock is pretty cute, but I can't explain your love either. Yes, you must add Will to your list.
Kurt Russel is awesome. He's very likeable. fairly good actor, can do comedy or serious passably....

Yes, Peter O'toole is always an especially bright spot for me. God, he's the best interview, too! His stories....hilarious man. Did you see Rock my World? (may be differently titled in UK. Alicia Silverstone and Joan Plowright and a bunch of cute boys were in it).

I actually prefer Joan Cusack over John anyway. She kills me.

Triviality is my domain Amber. Anything pointless that isn't important or somebody needs to know then I'll know it....

Actually, Bill Murray is another, as mentioned, to add to my list.

There's an English actor called Bill Nighy (he played Billy Mac in Love Actually). He's pretty solid and entertaining too.

Can I also suggest Daniel Craig? Damn fine actor and from my region of the country. Now he's got the Bond gig it might change things but I feel he will make Bond rather than Bond break him (as I believe it's done with all of them, maybe with the exception of Connery)
