My mum's actually adopted so all we know is that her mum was scouse and her grandparents were irish. My gran, her adoptive mother, is Derbyshire born and bred. She was born at home on a farm and hasn't moved out of the Peak District since My grandad is the same.

My biological father is stockport scum through and through.

So I'm a little Northerner and I wouldn't have it any other way

Typical American Protestant stock--1/4 Swedish, the rest English and Scottish. Pretty dull--I always wanted an immigrant grandfather talking about the "old country," or something.
I do appreciate some of the American lineage, though--my sister and I were absolutely gleeful to learn we were descended from a Salem witch. Aged 8 and 9, we were pretty sure this meant we had powers, and devoted a good amount of time to brewing "potions."
My father's side has latched onto their Swedish ancestry--everyone has yellow and blue china, and we recite a Swedish prayer at Thanksgiving and Christmas. But since the entire family has been in America for at least 6 generations, no one knows even the slightest bit of Swedish and I'm sure we've butchered the pronunciation beyond recognition!

For my mom's side she's 100% Irish but I don't know when they came to America.
I should defiantly look into this.

Sweet I'm the first one who's Greek
Greek! That is sweet!

My Dad's family is straight from England. My Grandmother is a war bride & my grandfather was a Canadian soldier in World War II. My Mom's side is straight from Denmark. So I am half Dane & English. It is really convenient because once I have enough money to travel to Europe, I can just stay with my cousins & aunts & uncles there, in both countries which is exciting. My Mom's side also has some kind of weird african tribe in their family too, she tells me they are very homely people so I'm glad it's far enough back
