You'd look great in those bohemian-type clothes she wore in the '70s!!

*blusheth* Thank you! I do find myself drooling over alot of her old photographs purely for her clothing (obviously when removing the obvious male distraction haha). It's one of my biggest letdowns, that I wasn't around in the sixties in seventies. Everybody I know tells me that I'm wasted in this decade haha. I'm not very technological, I couldn't give much of a crap for television and I don't care much for money. So I could have been a great poor musician/busker/traveller

Random musings re: recent post topics on this thread...

* I think the whole band may have engaged in several affairs with one another, at some point or another.

* I love Stevie's style in the 70s. Not much after that. But in the 70s she was off the hook. I loved her outfits as much as I loved her Tusk songs- which is a lot.

* I totally don't like the way Stevie dresses now, and I somewhat disagree she looks about 40 in that pic with the old Fritz, though she does look about 16 in the young Fritz pic.

* That pic of LB with CM where the fake hand is grabbing her boob is scary.

I'm off...

Hey, never rule this stuff out- particularly with 5 very young, coked-out, sexed-up individuals who are soaring high on success and excess. Things happen, and then many years later they forget most of it.

I am so glad I caught myself before cracking the joke that I was about to crack. But wow, is all I can say. But heck, at least they're still as close as they always were. Friends that you've had forever who know you warts and all and still love you are the best kind.

Truth. After all they've been through and seen, anything new that comes along would simply be- as LB calls it- "small potatoes."

What a strange saying lol! I've never heard him say that. Then again, I only heard him drop the F bomb for the first time last year when watching Destiny Rules. I'm ashamed of how giddy I got when I heard him say it but it was so great

Oh, for sure!

Check around 4:39/4:40 and he says it. He's also super quiet in this interview, which I find kind of hawt. lol! Probably annoyed by those women. He says so much with all that silence.

I wouldn't be shocked if they've all mixed and matched and had close encounters of the intimate kind, but on the other hand, I kind of like the fraternal feeling of the whole thing too and I'm enamored of the sibling type of love that may have developed.

We have some of the tour footage that Mick took where they're all in that big dressing room and I was thinking that over the years, given the number of shows and photo shoots, they've probably seen it all, especially in the early days when they didn't have a lot of money to ensure personal privacy and had to travel in very close quarters. I bet they've all seen and touched each other in various stages of undress and developed quite an intimacy.

So, when I see video where Lindsey and Christine just kiss right on the mouth or where John grabs a squealing Stevie and carries her across the beach, I'm delighted by these moments and their familiarity with one another, but I don't necessarily think romance. It actually bespeaks of a type of love that is just as exciting, but often more enduring than romance. I love to look for it and I really don't care about the combination.

I loved it when during the SYW tour, Mick practically kissed Lindsey every single night I was in the audience, during band introductions. It was funny, because he kissed Lindsey and not Stevie. That made me feel almost as warm as the closeness between Lindsey and Christine does, when I glimpse it in photos or video.

I've always thought of Fleetwood Mac as one big, slightly dysfunctional family. I love how, despite everything that has happened in their past, they're still close and treat each other with the utmost respect and familiarity. It'd be hard not to develop such feelings considering how long they're been working together and glimpsing their innermost souls through their lyrics and approaches to their music. For some reason I could always see Lindsey as more of a Female shoulder to cry on than the other two much more "Butch British" Males. I'd put money on him even knowing when the women would be having their Female "Eve's Curse" and knowing just how to treat them during that time. Even sitting with them in the early hours of the morning eating Ice Cream and complaining about all and sundry together. It's small little thoughts and moments like that that make me love them even more. They're human no matter how much we like to place them on pedestals, and they do everything we do. Like eating their meals in the bathtub and scrubbing a toilet. It's hard to view somebody as omnipresent and celestial when you put them in that position

You're right. The Mac, like other bands, probably share a love for each other that isn't quite romantic or sexual from being together for all those years. And during those days, everyone in the band probably did each other (which explains those stories I heard about Stevie doing both guys and girls and that Lindsey might be bi), but it was a crazy time back then and most bands from that era probably did do strange stuff like that. And besides, looking back now, there's 2 things we gotta remember: it was in the past, during a different time and that's all passed now, and the fact that they make for some awesome stories.

And I don't mean to cut the seriousness of this convo, but that bit about them seeing each other in various stages on undress had me tittering like a schoolgirl
