Paula, I agree, they were one of the few "hair metal" bands that had talent and good songs! I used to love that song "Gypsy Road," used to play it all the time!

So Brian, Blas is cool? Do you think he would like me if I weren't married??? LOL!

I was really young and insecure- felt totally intimidated, but we (the people *I* was with, not necessarily the band) did drugs and had a good time.

but he was cool, Blas just waited around after the Tulsa concert for his parents to arrive then he left...

Btw, He (Blas) is no longer a band member of Slaughter, He is now an onstage drummer for the Blue Man Group.

I saw Poison and those old school rock bands on tour in 2000 and 2001 3 times. To my suprise, besdies Poison, the BEST live band out of those was Quiet Riot. Not only did they play great live, the lead asshoole singer's vocals were amazing. I was shocked. Warrant was blaaaa, Slaughter so so, Cinderalla's vocals blaaa, but Quiet Riot rocked!

Okay, I didn't really love MS, just how he looked. Oh, but I did like the songs, just not necessarily him. Come to think of it I thought he looked like a jerk. I guess its the arrogance that came accross in the videos. Then again, he was hot so...

They do rock, I saw them at Monster's of Rock in the 80s and they were a real stand out. You're right about those vocals, he's an excellent live singer. Damn, I'm having flashbacks of when I got my new stereo and played my tapes in my room! Them were the days.

Dude, seriously? QR was atrocious when I saw them last year, really really bad. Kevin Dubrow's (I think) vocals were OK, but I couldn't concentrate because I was distracted by his leopard print pant suit and the wig he was wearing.

Cinderella, on the other hand, kicked ass. Maybe I just saw an off night for QR, or maybe they started sucking 4 years after you saw them. Ratt was on the same bill (without Pearcy) and they may have been the worst band I've ever seen live, btw.

Here's the thread of my review last year: http://www.ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/sh...ght=rock+stops Not that anyone will care, but...

Sweet. Yeah, I can't imagine Poison being all that great, but dammit if I don't like C.C. DeVille! He is too f'ing funny, his personality takes up the whole room! He needs to stop the tanning though...have you seen him on the Surreal Life? Bleach blonde hair and fake tan = fug.

Default She's finally lost it...

Funny - she didn't look like she had a concussion or spinal injuries to me... Just drunk like usual.

Paula Abdul Tells Police She Was Assaulted
Apr 06 8:00 PM US/Eastern

http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/04/06/D8GQQN906.html

Police are investigating a report by "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul that a man assaulted her at a private party over the weekend.

On Tuesday, Abdul filed a report at the Hollywood station claiming she had been a victim of battery about 1 a.m. Sunday, police Lt. Paul Vernon said Thursday.

"According to Abdul, the man at the party argued with her, grabbed her by the arm and threw her against a wall," Vernon said. "She said she had sustained a concussion and spinal injuries."

Abdul provided police with the name of the man, but Vernon withheld it pending further investigation. The man had not been charged, Vernon said.

Abdul's publicist Michelle Bega declined to comment. The incident was first reported by Us Weekly.

Abdul, who shares judging duties on Fox's hit talent show with Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson, appeared as scheduled on this week's "American Idol."

Last week, she signed a deal to remain on the show for another three years.

At least he finally fixed that missing tooth - after 4 seasons. It was all I could look at whenever he was talking.

I was always thinking, "Dude - you make how many millions stinking up this show, and you can't get a missing tooth replaced?"
