Oscar will find his way into her home, eventually. She is great and on the cover of InStyle Magazine...although airbrushed and lightened to the point of losing her damn cute freckles.

I mean she has flawlessly portrayed a coked up whore who romped around nude for three hours and then turns around and plays period pieces ranging from Victorian to Edwardian to Georgian, to Eisenhower. She is amazing; I love her work.

Besides Boogie Nights, I thought her performance in Far From Heaven was Oscar-worthy. Of course, Nicole won that year, so it could be worse. But Moore was very, very deserving.

She really seems to be quite underrated.

She probably will win in due time. Joan Allen needs one, too.

Well, I am very disappointed in all of you. I come here, the day after the awards, expecting to read about who looked like ass & who looked amaaaaaazing. Instead I was forced to read through 18 pages about the awards themselves. Blech. You guys suck.

BW - I've only seen a few of the nominated flicks, so I won't give my opinions. That, and I don't really care too much anymore. Onto more important matters...

Best dressed:

Salma Hayek (I swear this woman could turn me gay):

George Clooney (I swear this man could keep me straight):

Uma Thurman (romantic):

Reese Witherspoon (simple & classy):

J-Lo (that green was stunning with her skin tone, it would have looked like vomit on anyone else):

Kiera Knightley (classy):

Jessica Alba (glamour glamour glamour):

I also liked Jamie Foxx (LOVED the peacock blue shirt.) Kidman - I liked it at first, then the bodice looked toomuch like a wedding dress to me when she was presenting. Michelle Williams was brave to pick that yellow/orange, but it worked OK. In general, waaaaay too much black (Felicity, Swank, Latifah, Weiss) and nude colors (Uma, Reese, Kidman, Naomi Watts) for my taste. I prefer color.

Worst dressed:

Sweet Jesus, Charlize!

I have to find more pics. Tim Burton & Helena Bonham Carter were especially bad this year. And I found a pic of Lisa Rinna - wtf was she doing there?

For posting that Brandon!

PERFECTION, that's what that performance was! And that was a hard song to sing...if anyone has that in wmv format, please let me know. I'd love to have that in my collection of Dolly videos. I'll trade for it!
