I'm actually hoping a mammoth rain-induced sinkhole develops under the Kodak Theater, so the world is spared 6-1/2 hours (or more) of complete crap.

Especially as a film about Howard Hughes, it really sucked in that respect. I can't stand DiCaprio, anyway, I think he's awful. I did love Cate Blanchett because I always do, but I'm going with Madsen. I don't get what you mean by the home movie-ness of Sideways, though. But to each his own, like you said. ![]()

Hilary Swank's dress? Oh.My.God.To.Die.For!!!
I usually don't think she's all that attractive, but she looks spectacular tonight! Black dress, high in front (which usually looks matronly, but not this time) and backless. Very classy, very sexy. That Catalina chick looks great too. Nice white dress with beaded straps. Laura Linney - not sure about that hair. Scarlett Johansen - incredible hair, very old Hollywood (platinum blonde hair, red lips, black dress.) |

Sorry if this had been discussed already, but why isn't Hotel Rwanda up for best picture?
I think it is my favorite of them all. |
