Wow, I knew he was on "We Are The World" but not "Do They Know It's Christmas"... that's pretty cool!

Umm... I think that's a mistake. "Do They Know It's Christmas" was a collaboration of European artists, and unlike USA for Africa's inclusion of a certain Canadian comedian, I don't think Band Aide let in any 'Mericans.

Now Playing (in my head): "Jackson" by Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix.

Yep... I'm definitely going to have to see that movie at least one more time while it's still in theaters.

I need to see Walk the Line when I go home for Christmas. I'm really intrigued to hear how Joaquin and Reese do with all of the songs, especially "Jackson." The Live at Folsom Prison performance is so definitive.

As for what I'm listening to right now: "My Heart Beat Like A Hammer" from the dog & dustbin album.

I've never been much of a Johnny Cash fan. The only Cash cd I own is "Unchained" which I bought because of the Petty and Buckingham contributions.

I've seen Walk the Line twice already and have listened to the soundtrack many times so the music is really growing on me. I think I may just have to pick up Live at Folsom Prison.

Did you feel gypped listening to "Sea of Heartbreak" and wondering, "Wait, where exactly is Lindsey on this?"

You really should, it's a phenomenal album, especially the tracks with June. And of course, Cash with the Tennesee Two in the 60s is quite different from Cash with Rick Rubin in the 90s. (Though you might want to pick up American III: Solitary Man, as well, as Petty and a few of the Heartbreakers have some prominent roles on that album too.)

iPod is on shuffle and rocking pretty hard. So far:

Otis Redding, "Mr. Pitiful"
Fleetwood Mac, "Bare Trees"
Spoon, "All The Pretty Girls Go To The City"

I smoke two joints in the morning
I smoke two joints at night
I smoke two joints in the afternoon
It makes me feel all right

I smoke two joints in time of peace
And two in time of war
I smoke two joints before I smoke two joints
And then I smoke two more
