Ask Amber how she racked up 15,000 in one year.

Seriously - if I meet one more stupid male...ugh. Seriously - the most persistent guy right now is dumb as a box of hair - which is why he hasn't gotten the hint as of yet that I hate him.

lol..."I hate you, leave me alone" did work

Anyway - my gripe: the men I've been meeting are idiots. I've met no women at all.

Actually - I've met no one who really strikes my fancy in more than a year.

blah - at least I have a collection of good books

Well God love ya, I hope you meet someone as dumb as a box of rocks that you are totally smitten with. It would be your fate.

You'll meet a good one eventually, it's all about waiting.

I'm always reading. My collection of books is almost as big as my collection of movies. Maybe we should start a "Top Ten Books" thread.

Gee thanks

Actually I did meet a guy who I was smitten with - and he became smitten with me - then I discovered what an arse he actually is - seriously - stupidity is the biggest turn-off - I don't see myself falling for someone stupid - brains are one of the first things I look for in a mate

There's this guy in another department at work that is hella cute and he dabbles in photography and we have other things in common. However, I think he's kind of a mess. So I have steered clear. Although one night I told my coworker Ashlee of my fancy and said, "I should probably stay far away, huh?" and she agreed, although they are friends. That says alot. It also says, I'm sure he knows about my little crush. See what cocktails with coworkers can do?

The last guy that was very interested in me was this guy I am "friends" with, well I thought we were friends. One day he tells me he's met his "Michelle" who is one of his good friend's wife. But later that evening he propositioned me. You boys are maddening I tell ya.

I'm curious as to where you're looking. I'm surrounded by intelligent males--but it helps to be enrolled in a graduate math program, LOLOL. I don't think the bar scene would treat me very well.

Well I'm not actively looking anywhere - when I do go out - I'm usually with friends and NOT looking for anyone - that said, one guy I met at a coffee shop - which I thought was promising - but he's the dumbest of the dumb and LOVES the bar scene.

I? HATE The bar scene. I'll go with friends, like I said, to have fun - but I do not want to meet anyone there because well it's really not my thing - the few times I've actually gone to a bar we stay to ourselves mostly.

Being in a graduate math program would help lol - I've thought about going to grad school - but I just don't think I'm ready at this point....

Yeah, that is really the only reason to go to a bar, . To dance and have a good time w/ friends and not worry about meeting anyone! A lot of people meet their lifelong mates at church, but that's out for me since I don't go, and I'm not sure I want a devout churchgoing guy--they tend to really see things in black and white and sorta take for granted that they are the leaders in the relationship, etc.

I've just finished last The Contortionist's Handbook by Craig Clevenger, a truly fantastic book.

After just finding out that the TV movie, Sybil, was based on a book (I knew it was a true story), I came to the library and checked it out. I haven't started it yet.
