I think these two writers could still right some blockbuster stuff!! Let's hope your theory is correct. .

Me too. Remember when they were a real BAND, actually making all the sound themselves?

It's ridiculous what has become of most live bands now, either playing along to tracks, or having umpteen backing musicians.

Buckingham/McVie is always a great collaboration. It keeps the World Turning!

One or 2 backing musicians are understandable if a band is a 3 piece(to get a fuller sound) or a band that uses more musical instruments than they have people. (Though those musicians would be called touring musicians)

As for FM, they're better without backing musicians than most bands are with.
They don't need any back up singers/guitarists/drummers.

Okay, keep Brett, because he can play guitar and keys (good for acoustic guitar and string sounds), but get rid of everybody else. Just the five. Show 'em why they're legends.
keep Neale too. if nothing else, just because i like the guy.

Nope. He can still be in Lindsey's band, but I don't want a mini-Mac.

I wonder how good Lindsey would be at the one man band thing. I love when it's just him and his guitar(s), but some of his songs require more than just a guitar.

how do you mean you wonder?

he uses a backing track, or just reworks them. i want him to rework tons more of them. therefore, want more of his one man band tour.

I mean the one man band thing where the person has all the instruments on their person and are playing them by themselves.

I might not be as a big as a Lindsey fanatic as you( I think that you're the biggest LB fan there is), but I'm familiar with One Man Show, although I've never heard it.

I wish he'd scrap the backing tracks, too. Rework everything to be just him and his guitar and nothing else (i.e. Richard Thompson). He did it with Big Love and Go Insane, so it's not like he CAN'T do it.

I just want the same raw power they had from 1975-82 on stage. Anything less is, well, less.
