I love finding unexpected FM in the strangest places like the video I posted a few years ago with the guy chocking on mashed potatoes to Edge of 17 as a prank.

In this video a crazy woman refuses to leave McDonalds and is ignoring police to leave and just keeps dancing to classical music. But then Got A Hold On Me plays and she dances some to that.
Christine McVie starts around the 3:30 part.

Especially late at night outside a McDonalds with someone appearing to be high as a kite street dancing

This must be the weirdest unexpected FM I have had. I dreamt last night I was with my friends hanging around in the middle of a desert or arid area. And Mick walked by and I said hi, told him I was a FM fan and he beckoned me to follow him. I left my group and had to cross a highway and there was kind of an outdoor restaurant with long tables. Lindsey was sitting at one of them with several friends. I was with my dog, and they immediately loved it (it’s a Beagle, who doesn’t!), then Lindsey signaled me to seat at his table but as I was looking for a seat, my dog started running so I went to pick it up and when I went back to the table Lindsey was no longer there. I looked for him while everybody was playing with my dog, but he had disappeared. Mick wasn’t there either. Then I woke up. My dog had come into my room trying to get on my bed. I should be mad at him for interrupt my dream, but actually if it weren’t for him Lindsey had never invited me to his table.

This week BIG 80s countdown ending September 25, 1982 is a big week for the Mac. Gypsy debuts in the top 40 at #35. Hold Me drops like a rock from #7 to #32.
Abracadabra is #1. John Couger has 2 songs in the top 10.

I don't know if this is the same list you saw, or the previous. Cougar has 3 songs in the top 30 but just one in the top 10. And yes, no Mac songs

But from that list my definitve favorite is Head Over Heels. I love the Songs From The Big Chair album.

The list you posted is from 1985

I am referencing this week back in 1982

Edge of 17 cranking on this cruise ship pool deck or somewhere nearby. It would be a golden oldie for a cruise ship pool deck.

Begins around 16:55

"I Don't Want to Know", "Rhiannon", "Gypsy", and "Sara" were all played at a diner I visited earlier today.

IDWTK is pretty random.
