Saddam did business with a guy named Donald Rumsfeld before we decided we didn't like him anymore. Who was Mr. Rumsfeld working for at the time? Either George Herbert Walker Bush, Ronald Reagan or both.
And just for clarification purposes, the UN inspectors found no evidence that Saddam was doing anything he wasn't supposed to in reference to weapons of mass destruction or anything else for that matter. He was just sitting on a ****load of oil, the third largest supply in the world.
And yes, I would like to thank TruckerMike for going over to Iraq and working for Haliburton or one of it's subsidiaries and putting his life in danger every day. Our middle class economy has been so decimated by the current Republican administration and it's cronies that one of the few decent non union jobs left in this country is going over to Iraq and risking getting your ass shot off so you can make a decent living wage to live the "American dream."
The man has my utmost respect.
