The ending was certainly a shocker. I will be majorly bummed if they kill of Burke. He's one of my very favorites on the show. I agree about the girl who plays Izzy getting any Emmy nom. That was a powerful scene. I can't wait to see what happens tonight!

Oh my. I cannot BELIEVE what Izzy is doing, she has literally lost it - playing God, stopping his heart, I can't get over it. And now poor George is involved? They could both go to jail. Sheebus.

So scared about Dr. Burke. He may be a goner.

Addison looked like she got hit by a truck when Meredith said that she was dating the vet, realizing that this is why Derrick is so upset. "Everyone knows that Derrick loves Meredith except Derrick and Meredith! I can't compete with Meredith Grey!" Awesome, just awesome.

I didn't start watching until the end of the first season, so I don't know if I want Meredith with Derrick or not.

BTW - I still love Callie, even though she's turning out to be quite the bitch. She's sexy and cool. I don't know if it will last with her & George, though, she's way too jealous of his relationships with the girls.

Can't wait for tonight. Of course, it will probably end up being quite the cliffhanger, so then I'll be bitching that I can't wait until September.

I don't think she's a bitch. I think she reacts to situations in a way that many of us would. Then again, I really dislike Meredith so my view on the subject is rather biased.

I just hope I get home from work in time to catch all of the rest of it tonight.

I have soooo much to say I'm just going to break it down a bit.

Izzie & Denny - Katherine Heigl was amaaaaazing tonight. Izzie is taking too many hits off the crazy pipe for me, but Katherine made me BELIEVE her pain tonight. Snaps to her. I think she's going to be done after this. Maybe I've missed a lot (but I've seen every episode!) but I just don't see the set up for a move like this. Sure she likes the guy, maybe she loves him, but what makes her do something like this when he would probably end up with a heart eventually? A lot of bad off people come through that hospital! She didn't have to go that route. And shame on her for bringing George into it just so he could witness their display.

Addison - I actually felt reallllly bad for her tonight. I'm glad she's finally gotten this all out in the open because frankly she deserves someone who's going to pay attention to her. She's fabulous. I loved the scene with Meredith, it was well played. And the scene with the Chief in the end. Whoa.

Callie - I am thisclose to flying to Seattle, scooping up George, and protecting him from that pile of crazy. I don't get why he's involved with someone like that. However I loved him talking about how his ladies were his family.

Burke & Cristina - I think this will be just the thing for her to forgive him.

Meredith - way to hit us on the head with subtlety at the end. "i really love him, i really do," sure you love the dog, Mer. Sure.

McDreamy - way to bring the jerk factor down a notch. That scene in the elevator with Mer by themselves was painful. I've noticed he doesn't save a lot of patients so I'm worried for Burke.

Best quote of the night: "Hey, sorry Alex, this part of the bar is for surgeons. We don't socialize with gynecologists."

My theories about where they might be going with all of this...

I think Preston may die, forcing Christina to actually be a hurt, vulnerable, depressed person instead of a smart, skilled, cold surgeon. Of course, him being severely wounded & needing her to care for him would do it too.

I think (I said it before, I'll say it again) that Addison will seduce Alex. Their dislike for eachother has got to come to a head soon, and I think passion will take over. Then she can ask McDreamy if he cares again.

I think that Denny will die & Izzie will lose everything, have a breakdown, the whole 9 yards.

I think that Callie may give George an ultimatum ("them or me") and he won't do it. That, or he'll try to defend Izzie when the **** hits the fan & she won't want to deal with it. They'll break up.

Meredith & McDreamy? I honestly do not have a clue.

I like her, too. She did come around with Meredith at the end. I thought that was sweet. But I agree, I don't think it will last with her and George. I can see her going "fatal attraction" on him.
