And I would just shake my head.

There's nothing you can say to that I suppose.

Well, in Rome there's a church, Sant'Antonio Abate all'Esquilino, where animals can be always brought in and every year there's the Blessing of the animals, an important ceremony with a very long tradition. Besides, ever heard of St. Francis of Assisi?

Well, you may have made it clear before and I wasn't present often enough on the board to see where you said it. Until yesterday, I hadn't been posting as much as I like to.

I support faith-based organizations (with money...which I'm not saying so that I can "feel good about myself") that do some truly great things.

Abortion sickens me, but I would love to see the next generation's numbers drastically reduced. Preferably by people being responsible for their reproductive organs. Yeah, that's gonna happen.

Last time I checked, we didn't need any more people.

Yes I have. And I bring my animals to my church once a year for the blessing of the animals!

"...the simple gifts in life everyday" is a very subjective thing, anyway. Not to mention all the people who one can say aren't receiving any "simple gifts" at all. Besides, it's "every day." That is a pet peeve of English majors.

That also wouldn't be disproving it scientifically by any stretch of the imagination, especially with such subjectivity.

Well I wasn't speaking from a scientific standpoint - I was speaking of one from faith.

The moment I wake up every day is one of the treasured simple things I thank God for.
