Well, I make my living as something of an artist, if you call TV and Film an art, LOL. So I certainly respond that way too. But I would put the response sexy in quotes as well.

Now when it comes to relationships, there has to be MUCH more than a "pretty face." In fact, a "pretty face" is pretty far down on the list of requirements.

Much more helps. Pretty face never hurt !

Well, yeah. I do too, but it certainly isn't a hormonal thing.

All this talk of pretty and sexy has reminded me that I better get my butt to the gym.

She sure didn't seem reserved in last year's radio interview with Mark & Brian!
Stevie was absolutely the best thing about that interview... she was chatty, she was funny, she was self-deprecating ("I don't know how to burn CDs, but I can make you a cassette!").

She seemed to be having a great old time, and demonstrated a better overall sense of humour that her bandmates. Same with the 'Destiny Rules' doc.

I wouldn't say she has a "sunny disposition." I wouldn't say that about ANYONE in Fleetwood Mac.
But she sure strikes me as having a great sense of humour... even these days.

And I don't think her makeup is any different then usual- it is just so obvious because for some reason the camera man wanted us to see up her nose. That is the only annoying part about LIB- the Stevie close ups are insane! Why oh why did they do that to her? Do they want us to see every imperfection on a person's face? If I was videotaped that close up I'd hope that I had pancake makeup on!

Uh, has anyone noticed Lindsey's pancake make-up? I swear he was wearing quite a bit of base make-up when I saw them this summer, I noticed it when I inched my way up to the stage and I KNOW he was wearing something on his face!

I'm tellin' ya, it was still REALLY noticeable during Goodbye Baby! He looked rough: lines, wrinkles, the whole shebang. He's still very attractive for his age though, don't get me wrong.

Have you seen them on tour this summer for Jupiter's Darling? Both Ann and Nancy look stellar. One of my male friends that went with me fell in love with Nancy by the concert's end...he's 26 and she's in her fifties! In other words, they are both still very enchanting for women their age, and it doesn't hurt that they're so damned talented! I got a good close-up look at Ann---the woman's skin is amazing (even under all the pancake make-up I'm sure!) she looked great even after all the sweating and dancing, etc. I wonder if she's had any work done...

Both Ann and Nancy look stellar.

I didn't get to see Heart perform, but they were at the Big E fair out near Springfield, MA this past week. I caught a glimpse of them as they spoke with a group of people before the show behind the stage. Even offstage, they looked great!

I've only seen one or 2 clips of them performing, but it was like a hurricane force wind with fire in it, it was so awesome (early days) makes me really want to see those old performances of the songs i love anyways. Super-forceful. To me, Stevie is (conversely, but similarly) more of strong, gusty, erratic wind, with fire shooting just out of her eyes....uh, to compare two forces of nature...

Do we all have to get into the voice preservation argument again?! Stevie can still sing in other registers , but I think it's obvious she has to take great care in not shredding her voice like she used to. I don't think it's hard to understand that she has to make it a priority (and I imagine it must be frustrating to her as well)...singing is her life and she can carry on in a little different way or she can quit. This is also someone who would, I'm sure, find it devastating to lose her voice permenently even if she retired from the stage...she loves to sing at home too! I realize the remedy is too much for some of you to take, but I think she's done a good job of coming up with creative new stylings in the lower register for many of her songs (Rhiannon, GDW ending, etc.)

Some songs that were recorded in a higher key just cannot be sung night after night without taking their toll on the singer. "Come" is another example. I love the rehearsal segment in Destiny Rules where Lindsey jokes about keeping it in the original key and interjecting lip synched bits where he cannot reach the notes.

I believe he was referring to World Turning. And "I", gotta get my feet back on the ground", the "I" being the sampled part. It's a high C.

No, he was referring to COME during the World Turning rehearsal. He suggested to sample the " and NO-body else is doing it " part. The " NO " in particular. Very funny. He rocks out the intro-lyric of world turning in that rehearsal like a madman, by the way. He cooled it down in concert though. Unfortunately.
