I think she’d do a great job on “Think About Me” for some reason.

bear with me, if for nothing more than to think it through:
You can't deny that Sheryl would bring fresh energy. Further, she could be the impetus to get Stevie and Lindsey back on stage together. David Wild of Rolling Stone said they are destined to play together until one of them drops. It's unwise to mess with destiny – which, as the saying of the band goes, rules. I would have gone Colbie Caillat, though. Sheryl is too heavily associated with Stevie. Colbie has a familial association with Christine (Ken produced ITM and is largely responsible for bringing Christine back).

I would like to do a tribute with my best friend in the whole world, Sheryl Crow, for my best friend in the whole world, Christine McVie.

The above coheres – with Christine having been her best friend but passing on, and her longtime friend Sheryl stepping in to fill the void.

I wrote Landslide about my best friend in the whole world, John Lewis. I realize that now.

I hate her. The world is about HER. I hate her.

I've distanced myself a bit from the band since Lindsey got fired. For me Fleetwood Mac stopped being Fleetwood Mac at that moment. So I wouldn't drop dead if Sheryl Crow would join the band but I see what you're saying. She'd be Stevie's "new best friend in the whole wide world" ugh

Besides, why isn't Stevie doing a tribute?? I mean, according to her, they were BFF's so why isn't she doing anything to honor Christine?

Christine is too old(not to mention dead) to help the old goat trying to stay relevant. Her best friends are half her age.

True except that it would help her since Christine is nominated for a Grammy. That gives Christine the recognition she totally, absolutely deserves and if Miss Nicks would do a tribute it would make her look like the "best friend in the whole wide world" to Christine and people would respect her for it. Instead we get to watch Mac groupie Crow. I don't even know if Christine liked her or if she knew her personally.

that said, most of these grammy tributes are usually lame, and people who do tribute are selected in a let's say mysterious ways. like when Gaga did widely panned Bowie tribute. so i'm just REALLY happy that there will be a Chris tribute at grammys, and that she's also nominated this year which makes her value and longevity underlined.

I kind of like that Mick’s playing with Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt. Especially Bonnie.
