Indeed, exciting. I was thinking the same thing re: something to promote!
I'd love a moment of singing between Arianna and her, too.
I'd REALLY love it if she showed up in a skit, but that may be wishing for too much.

Probably won't be promoting anything new since it's only a few weeks away. But it's great that she'll be back on SNL. I'd imagine "Stand Back" and "Landslide" or "For What It's Worth" as the encore.

Yes, that’s what I was thinking. Its to bad she doesn’t have anything new to push unless she has one new song to feature off this new possible project.

Stevie will probably sing a concert standard, right? (“Stand Back” and “If Anyone Falls” are always good choices.) If she does a second song, she and Ariana could do “Best of My Love” or “The Sad Cafe” in honor of J. D. Souther.

Yeah, hearing one of the new songs she had been working on would be great. But I'm not sure how confident she would be dropping new material on live TV.

She'll be in Philly on Sep 28 for a rescheduled show, so it probably worked out logistically to be on the show at that time.

The more that I think about it... Peforming "The Chain" might be interesting and radical for Stevie.

She already told MOJO in June that she's been recording an album. She's been working with the producer Greg Kurstin.

It is possible- the members all get comp copies, and she was aware of previous rereleases. Except for the fact that she probably got her free copy weeks ago, I would agree with you. Likely laying around in her mansion somewhere lol.

No..in nearly 50 years of following she had never gotten that specific .The most you may get is I'm really excited for you to hear my new music
