Talking Pets... show and tell!

Since we're all sharing pictures of ourselves and children lately, I figured we could continue the trend and share our pets!

This is Nigel... he's been in my life now for 4 wonderful years. He's about the sweetest (and dopiest) creature on earth. He got his name because he is an English breed (Cairn Terrier... just like Toto!), and when he was a baby he was so fat he couldn't walk right and would fall down. So I was trying to think of what a fat, drunken, English man's name would be and... NIGEL!

That's a very recent pic of my handsome little boy!

My other half LOVES messing with Nigel because he is so laid back .

Bath time for babies!

Me and my fierce little killer!

Louie - I had the same dog growing up... this pic is way old though (Sometime in 2000 I think). His name was DUDE. Best dog ever.

Mine is on the left. She is named Roja. When I found her she had very little fur due to mange. Terrible condition, but now she's as good as new.

It was cold out that night.

My ex Derek and I had this little red minature Dachsund thta I absolutely fell in love with. I really miss that little guy. His nae is Clay. Right now I have 2 cats and a dog. The one cat is an orange tabby names Norman and hes my little buddy. He's 12 now and still going strong. When I went to the humane society to look for a cat back in 1998 I saw him in his kennel and he was purring so loud that I just couldnt resist. We went into the visiting room, and he came right to me and fell asleep in my arms. We've had him now for 12 years and I cant even put into words what that little guy means to me.

I just went with Sara to pick up her new puppy! It's an english cream mini dachshund named Parker. He is absolutely perfect!

Here is a pic my sister took on her phone...he's about to fall asleep all wrapped up in blankets:

and this is my cat, Sylvia (she was about to have a litter of kittens when this was taken):

That looks like something we'd do to my dog too! Cairns are such fun little dogs. My parents loved mine so much, they got one too.

Why did it just take me an hour to respond to this? Ugh.

Anyhow, this is Hollywood (Holly) and Bloo. Holly is a 3 year old Standard Poodle in need of a hair cut, and Bloo is a 3 year old supposed Chihuahua. Holly is sooo hyper and Bloo is so scared of everything. I don't know why, I've owned him since he was weaned.

This would be my Oscar. He went to the vet today, and let me tell you, he was a BITCH to get in the pet bag. Not a happy boy. This is my baby doll. I love him soooo much!

Last, but definitely not least, is Bueller. Ferret Bueller. Yes, named after Ferris, because he's just a little trouble maker. I can never get a good picture of him because he refuses to sit still! haha! I love him dearly!

Laverne and Shirley fan?

Were they big ass parrots? Then I understand, because I don't think I could tolerate those. A friend of mine had one and you could hear him halfway up the street. Nelly's just a little budgie. She's screechy, but not break-your-eardrums screechy.

after going to speak to the oracle (google) this made my heart stop. And here I thought my mother came up with that name by herself. I could always rename him BayBayKid...it would have fit him pretty well

Bloo looks like he's part Mini-Pin, too. Not that I'm any expert, I'm just sayin'....
