I wish. Nope. I just want people to know how important it is to rid ourselves of this cancer on the presidency and thank them so much for doing their part.

I didn't intend to be so much a drama queen last night; I just got myself all worked up. But Johnny, I'm so glad you wrote me that post. It made me cry, but in a good, cathartic way. I know that we've come such a long way, and a setback like this will hurt so much, but I know we can still come out of it. And it means a lot to read that from another gay person who is seeing it as realistically as anyone can but can still see a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for being an inspiration.
Thank you, Hillary... I'm just trying to do what I can. I know a lot of people think I sound like the preachiest guy around... and maybe I am... but that's one risk I'm willing to take. We have to be heard, right? And we most definitely have to look out for one another, whenever and wherever we can.

Don't let anyone say you're the preachiest guy around! That's so wrong! I agree--we need to stick together. And yes, "let there be light in this lifetime," and, one of my favorites, "I can't feel bad about the way I am."

I'll be voting in about an hour... before I leave for work.
Then I plan to wear the little "I Voted" sticker they give you, while I'm "on the clock"... that way, if anyone has forgotten to vote, they'll have a friendly little reminder.

And I have to echo Curtis' sentiments... this is all way too intense! Yikes!
This whole thing is murder on us poor neurotics!

I hit sensory overload status two days ago--I'm SO sick of all of this....I spent ALL Friday night talking politics with this guy at a bar lol...yes folks - that's just how sad I am --but it was nice to meet a male who was equally as sad as I
Anyway - I just can't see political ads anymore without wishing my head would just explode....I really hope this ends tomorrow....meaning I hope it doesn't take 0388338 years to figure out who won

ANyway - this day will last a long time for me as we're carrying live election coverage from NPR all night - AND I get to go camp out at the Democrat's party tonight - to harrass all of the candidates into talking to me and our station So I'm gonna be working til 3 or 4 in the morning tonight....

Well, maybe just be happy you have such a cool job. I don't get to meet anyone, go anywhere, or talk to anyone for mine!

I'm in PA... Battleground-State Central. Lemme tell you, the amount of political ads on TV and radio these past few days has been astronomical. I didn't think they could possibly top the amount I've been seeing and hearing in recent weeks, but somehow they managed it!

On top of that, we've been receiving a half-dozen, or more, political phone-calls every single day. (Bill Clinton called twice on Sunday! )

So I completely understand where you're coming from about being ready for your head to explode! And you know it's gotten pretty bad when you start talking back to pre-recorded messages! "That's a load of crap! Bush hasn't done anything for the 'working class'!"

Well this last Saturday I went to cover a Get Out the Vote Rally and in attendance (and speaking) was Hillary Clinton - that was pretty cool - never got to cover any high-profile folks like that back home...also if any of y'all are familiar with one of our Congresswomen - Louise Slaughter - she was there - she's pretty damn cool....

I've been sent to cover a lot at the Dem. HQ - so I'm hoping tonight will be fun and I won't have too much trouble getting people to talk to me...

So - though I'm a bit bitter about having to work so late - and not getting to come in any later tomorrow...I am actually looking forward to covering tonight

hello, thank you! That's the spirit! Believe me, you could be doing way worse things. I love Hillary, BTW. I'm suprised you don't get to come in any later tomorrow, though Anyway, enjoy yourself!

Doing worse things? Like sleeping lol - I think I'd rather be doing that

No seriously I do love my job and wouldn't want to be doing anything else.

And though I absolutely strive and demand fairness and a view of boths sides of issues - I am glad that I didn't get stuck going to the GOP party...I think the Democrats will be much more fun

Omigod, i'm glad you didn't get stuck with that, too! And no, I meant worse jobs than your job. Sleeping is never worse than anything, IMO, and often better than most things!
