Tuna in green curry sauce, over a bed of rice, that I bought at Trader Joe's. It's really good, and was only $1.49!

Best of all, only 230 calories!

I made a "beef" stew with this. It was really good- I cooked it in a crock pot, all day. Red bliss potatoes, green beans, onions and corn. I'm feeling like I need to get up and get something to snack on. I wish I had will power!

The best beef stew to me, is one that has been slow cooking in a crock pot all day. Want one of my secrets? Brown gravy mix(the powder) in it, as stock. Gives it an over the top flavor! It's like the missing ingredient. Try it!

Oh, and I just looked at your link. Know what I've been using a lot of, lately? Chorizo. Aldi's has their own brand, and it's only about $2, for a lb package. At Krogers though, they have chorizo seasoned ground turkey, for $1.59, for a 1lb sausage chub. Of course the turkey's much better for you, but I was checking the caloric info, and the difference, surprisingly, is minimal. Like only 15 or 20 calories difference, per serving.
But about the only way I can stand ground turkey, is this way, or they also have taco seasoned ground turkey, which is tolerable.

I know, on the will power...after 16 months of success, I feel like I've started to falter, since about November. I'm bound and determined to keep it under control, but it's so hard. Especially in the winter, when I crave comfort foods.

The night before last I had Tofu marinaded in oyster sauce (which was just awful but the sauce needed getting rid of. Ruined my tofu ) with baby sweetcorn and mange tout on noodles.

Last night I had my favourite lentil & vegetable roast with fries. Weirdest combination ever. AND my mum ruined the nut roast. She didn't bother to roast it properly.

Spinach salad, with some Trader Joe's Creamy Corn and Roasted Pepper soup. Damn I can't wait until they get TJ's built here.

Sounds like what I had for dinner! I had a tofu stir fry with green peppers, onions, Chinese eggplant, broccoli, tomato, garlic and ginger in a miso-chili sauce, plus a side of yaki-soba in mushroom broth. A perfect, hearty dinner for a cold, wintry evening!.

Okay, I'm hungry again...
