Stevie is not on this track. Its the exact same track that was recorded in '97, no changes.

Red Rover was most definitely played on the SYW tour; it was performed at most (if not all) of the 2004 dates.

Great song. One of my top five favorite Lindsey songs.

The SYW and Soundstage live versions were fantastic. However, I disliked the Under the Skin performances because he really toned them down, almost to a whisper.

The Soundstage version is probably the best. The crowd loved it!

It's on the bootleg DVD from the Madison, WI show, but it looks a little rough to me Hard to tell on some of those bootlegs though. It seems like it would suit a smaller venue better than an arena. But, I wasn' there...

Luke ( or anyone else ), did you see it live then, and how was it on the bigger stage?

I'm really impressed with listening to Lindsey's work on Say You Will. After hearing SYW for the first time today, all I can say is wow. Just the mixture of those catchy tunes and experimental beats are awesome.

edit: Well, I must have been high when I saw this the first time, 'cause after watching it again tonight, I think it's really pretty darn good!

From Madison, WI. in 2004 ( this was the same night when Lindsey was doing push-ups for the fans while his guitar was being worked on ):
