Well I for one am extremely excited for Dave's most recent tweet. A full album? Woot but does that mean a full Stevie album? In any case I'm thrilled for this news. I really don't give a **** if she's working with Dave or whomever as long as those creative juices are flowing and there's a chance she'll officially release something!

It will be interesting to hear if he mentions working with Stevie Nicks!!
Did anybody hear it? Any mention of Stevie and the mysterious project? Or am I too early? Timezones are confusing lol.

Dave mentioned working with Stevie in his interview this evening. Here's her mention in the write-up:

"Dave also spoke about working with Stevie Nicks, that 6 tracks are recorded so far and they will try and complete the album in the Summer, and that he is hoping to play live with a “bunch of reprobates”"

http://eurythmics.me.uk/?p=12219

He mentions Stevie in Part 2 when you scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I heard him say, "it will become an album, recording it in June this summer". He kind of talks like he tweets!

I think he's trying to be hush-hush about it. But now we finally got an official confirmation, in an interview, that this will truly be an album. I also think that's his personality...low key.

it's just that soon after he says something like he knows when an idea because it's forgettable, lately it seems like everything is forgettable, he blames it on old-age, but I wonder...

he also says..."i'll probably play a few acoustic things with her." when talking about performing with her. maybe it's a very stripped down album they are doing?

well this certainlty is fantastic news! I've been looking at this whole thing with very skeptical eyes but it does seem to be actually materializing. I just hope Stevie doesn't go and change her mind!!

Sorry if i've offended anyone: just voicing my opinion as has everybody else...

Hope i'm not 'bringing anybody down' - that would be a person's own decision...and i guess i can't afford to buy the album yet cause i'm not sure if i got my summer job yet...sorry again
Sorry to rehash this, but I haven't been online all day. Miranda, you shouldn't have apologized. It is very sweet and kind of you to do so, but they had no right to fuss at you for your opinion. And I am with you anyway. All these rare demos and bootlegs are like new music to me. The fact that she may be doing a duet album with Dave bothers me tremendously. And Georgie, it is very respectable of you to stand up to them with Miranda. So rude of them.

I agree. When Stevie was working on TISL, she recorded several tracks with Dallas Austin, and then decided that she didn't like the way they sounded, which delayed the album.

And then there was the whole Mirror Mirror debacle, where Jimmy Iovine quit and she had to basically start over.

And the delay of Street Angel so she could have the album reproduced, because she didn't like the way the songs turned out due to Klonopin and Glynn Johns production techniques.

It's easy to be skeptical; Stevie has trained us well.

Yes, it's completely rude of us to be bothered by the constant bitching that goes on at The Ledge. And i guess you didn't read my response to her apology either...

It's unfortunate that Stevie has basically set us up for disappointment due to her past actions. I don't blame anyone for being wary of a new album's release until it's on the shelves...even Soundstage was delayed for about 8 months, although i think that was due to her management's brilliant idea to release it during the Unleashed Tour...it would have performed better if it just came out on its original release date, but you live and learn. And i honestly think this album will be released on Dave's label, WME.

Lolzzzz, I hate arguing. I just think it's funny how you are bothered by bitching yet you seem to have done it in a few posts of your own as of late. "Bitching" is also known as opinions in case you missed the memo.
