I prefer Mohegan Sun only because it's quicker to get to but Foxwoods will work too. Foxwoods is smaller and is a theater rather than an arena. First show I saw there I had second row seats so maybe my luck will work for this one!!

I really wish Stevie would play at the Paramount Theatre, in Denver.

http://www.paramountdenver.com/

The stage is far bigger than it looks and the sound is phenomenal. Smaller concerts are so much better, anyway. I've seen Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple and Siouxsie & The Banshees here, and they were all great shows.

Red Rocks is nice and all, but eh.

Casinos are easy money for the performer. Stevie's last stop at a regular venue here in CT was back in '01 on the TISL tour. Since then she's only been at the casino. Same with Fleetwood Mac, their last two times thru were at the casino. They make more money at the casinos than at the arenas. This is why many people plant themselves in Vegas, the money pours in and there's no travel.

I'll bet they're even comping her room!

God, I hope she doesn't play the casino here. The venue sucks.

Aren't there a ton of them on either side of the Falls? I think that could be kind of neat- seeing the falls and going to the show. I haven't been to Niagra Falls in, like, 30 years, but I remember that it was kinda breathtaking.

There may be an additional 1 to 3 dates added in the region, most likely at the usual suspects (venues already listed in this thread). She'll probably work that whole week leading up to Labor Day weekend, with a Canada gig (ie. Casino Rama) on that weekend wrapping it up.

To assume anything else is wildly unfounded speculation, IMO. That's not to say that there might be some west coast dates in the fall (who knows), but these two announced dates give no indication to that happening.

I would love it if Stevie did a proper 2500-3500 seater theater tour. Problem is, there's just not enough money in it for her.
