Exclamation SYW tidbit in ICE magazine

This is probably all old news but I just saw this in the 4/03 issue no. 193 of ICE magazine and thought I'd share.

Sorry if it's small but I had to shrink it down to fit it here.

Geez, I like how TITN is not only the "last studio album" FM has done but now it's moved back to 1986 (instead of '87) on the release date.

The "help" in production assistance was news to me. I mean, I heard of this Green Day dude via the recent LB articles when he was referring to what was to be his SOLO follow up etc. and I guess I assumed (wrongly) that Lindsey would have fully taken the reigns with the SYW production since it was to "now be a Mac project" so to speak but I guess not.

The "US tour" part scares me as I feel badly (again) for our non US ledgies but hopefully this will not end here.

I knew about the CM & Crow guest appearances but not the others.

So, I hope this is of some interest.

John

Lindsey is said to have produced the album fully on his own. John Shanks was evidently recruited to add some touches to the single version of Peacekeeper. Maybe other singles too, don't know yet.

Thanks for posting the clip John.

I wonder what Alanis Morrisett or how ever you spell her name is doing on the album, hmm.

I don't think they mean Alanis herself is on the record, just that keyboardist, Jamie what's his face, that played with her (apparently) will be on it.
