I'm still so amazed how she had the stamina and true interest for all of us.
She must be exhausted!

These stories are so wonderful! I can't get enough! It sounds like she stayed pretty late too! Were there still alot of people turned away? When did they stop letting people in? Did everyone inside get to meet her and get their DVD/CD signed? (sorry for all of the questions; I've never been to anything like this so I have no idea how they work. )

much time we had to talk to her...I am so glad I went and met so many wonderful
people.

Thank you for putting up those pics MacMan. Wow, she looks great. Thank you guys for the videos, too. You really made it possible for many to "be there" from a distance.

Well between the angry Asian beyotch behind the desk and the old guy infront of me droning on about some African village (I mean really ) - I almost got lost in the shuffle But, I very politely stood my ground and she realized what had happened. She then spoke very briefly to me and I thanked her. I also told her that the guy before me was talking about some African village (I think he invited her there while kneeling at the desk) - she laughed and then was manhandled to the next person. I hated to be pushy and/or possibly hurt the really nice guy behind me's time with her, but there was no way I was being shovwd out of there after waiting seven hours without speaking to her. I was very polite about it. So, I am pretty sure there was no harm done and I believe she got what was going on.

I don't think many people were turned away. If so, they came very late, like after the signing had been under way.
She was really special with everyone. I saw her after she'd been doing it for about two and a half/three hours. She still took my hand in hers and made eye contact and said something very special to me.
It's corny, but I feel like I know what all the decades of just loving her and her music and her spirit were all about now. This is a truly special person. She's just ... well, worthy. I'm honored more than ever to call myself a Stevie Nicks fan.

I told her "Has Anyone" got me through it, and she thanked me and said for me to take care of myself. As i walked away, and she continued signing, i could see her stop and give me a final glance...it was really touching. Then after some reporter asked me for a quote about what we were talking about cause it seemed to move stevie....lol
Chris Nicks has cancer??? That's sad

totally feeling your post!!!

it's her ability to connect quickly to people and to make them feel like they are seen that makes her a star...
