Default Mirage Live SOTM comment

Ok I know this performance has been discussed a bazillion times but in anticipation of it being performed (hopefully) on the upcoming tour I thought we could talk about this version until then.

Ever notice how she compltely disappears about half way through when Lindsey sings a verse then she "magically" reappears?

Seeing Chris doing the head bobs up n down is pretty cool.

The band really sounds amazingly tight and really rocks this song out.

I had not noticed before but Lindsey has his shirt open to the navel!

I think this is probably my all time fav live performance by miz nicks.

This is the song that got me into Fleetwood Mac and Stevie. I love it!

Honestly you can't even compare this to the album version or any other live version. This is just the best, from the performance to the vocals. Its just incredible. The only version I have heard that even rivals this is Oakland 10-20-82.

I think it is possible they may do it but I doubt she will rock it out.

We'll see, right? Neither one of us know for sure if they will even do it. Promise, if they do, you will get back with me on how you feel she did.

March 8th... Although, I really wanna go to more. I guess I will see how the 8th goes before I decide. (CONFESSION: I have never been to more than one show on the same tour...) When is your show? Are you going to more than one? Does your's come before mine? (please say yes, lol)

The Mirage performance of SOTM is perfection. From the minute she stomps out on stage banging on that cowbell...My favorite part is towards the end when LB is leaning on Stevie as he's playing, while she's shaking her head, looking very distraut (you all know the part!). It does kinda bug me that they used footage from the second (or first) show in LA for the middle part when she's dancing and then did a horrific job editing the pieces together. Still, it's pure magic!

I have to agree that Stevie's voice was pretty banged up for this song. But at the end of the day it was ultimately about her energy and her astounding commitment to the song- almost like a possessed woman having an exorcism on stage. The only thing that could have topped this performance is if her head started spinning around and she projectile vomited.
