Default Question about San Diego

I see they're playing whats called the Cox Arena. Is that the same dump that used to be called the sports arena that I saw Fleetwood Mac at in 2003?

I have a free airline ticket coming, so I just booked my flights, I'm doing L.A, Vegas and San Diego, as well as the first 11 or 12 shows on the tour. Which ones are you going to?

Can someone tell me WHERE the San Diego date is coming from?? There's nothing on TM or livenation.com. I need to know as it would be my closest show if it is indeed happening. Thanks!

Apparently, it IS the Sports Arena. Those f'ing idiots at Live Nation... it doesn't take much in the brains department to work at that company, from my experience.

David, yes, I agree with you that the Sports Arena IS a dump (went there for opening night of U2 in '05), but at least its not in the middle of nowhere like Cox Arena is.

I've been to the cox arena on the SDSU campus, and I hate it.

I vote Anaheim.
And I live in San Diego...

Middle of nowhere??? Jeez- I live about 5 minutes from Cox. Actually, SDSU/Cox Arena is only about 10 minutes from downtown San Diego.
So it IS the Sports Arena , huh? That's ok with me - it is kind of a dump, only cuz it's old. But the parking is easy, and once your inside it's ok. I may hit Anaheim also. As far as security goes, Anaheim is a LOT more strict than the Sports Arena.

Believe me, I know that for a fact. I saw Fleetwood Mac in bth places in 2003, and going into the arena in Anaheim, you would've thought Every fan was a terrorist with the way they wanded/patted people down. In San Diego where I had front row, they couldnt have cared less and I got alot of great pictures which hang on my wal to this day.
