Hi all,
while going through my photo collection I found a couple of RAL live photos where Stevie is wearing her famous feathered headdress AND tophat together. I've only seen photos where she either wears the feathered headdress OR the tophat but never together. Are there any other photos out there from other eras where she also combines the headdress and the tophat??

As far as I know she only did that on the RAL tour.
This seems to be a differend type of feathered headdress with multicolour and extra long feathers: ![]() On a sidenote, yesterday I found this ubercool photo of Stevie with Bob Dylan: ![]() but wtf is she wearing?!

LOL. Doesn't look like Stevie garb at all. So, although in the interview she said how all the men love her lingerie, I wonder if she secretly runs around the house in a big mu mu and fuzzy slippers.

I used to have that picture, but I can't figure out what happened to it. I can't even remember how I got it. But it is one of my favorites. |

She wore the old-style feather headdress at the show at the Orange County Fairgrounds on June 29. She was kind of sick that night, so she didn't see fans in her dressing room after the gig.

That's awesome. She was so fierce she wore two hats, how much more freaky-deaky could that tour possibly have gotten??
![]() Those are great pics, and a glimpse of onstage RAL antics is sometimes enough just to make my day..! |

Poncho! Sanne that is awesome. I always wondered why there weren't more pictures of Stevie during her time in Australia with Tom Petty and Dylan. That's actually the first one I've ever seen. |

Here are two more (one is the same as Sanne's but a bit larger). I have a couple more, but I'd have to shrink them 1st.
luv, Shel

Here are my scans of shots I know were from July 18.
Clickable. ![]() Here's one of top hat & feathers, but I'm not sure where it was taken. ![]() On STOP DRAGGING MY HEART AROUND, Stevie wore her top hat & jacket & stalked over to the mics in front of Sharon, Elisecia & Lori, & did little dances with them, & sang "And this one says . . . " in each of their mics, & then yelled "I don't think you should ever do that!" & "Don't do that!" during the song outro. These were great times, Pete, great times.

I love it when she did that! Jones Beach too, remember? She screamed/croaked "Wellllllll I don't think that she should do that, don't do that, don't do that well..!" Everyone thinks I'm crazy, I know. But I loved that shizz. It was almost absurdist. |

Can anyone post photos from Poplar Creek (Chicago) 6/21 or Alpine Valley (WI) 5/30? I recall seeing pics from Chicago but never saved them. I was at both of these shows.
I'm in lower NY state now and a friend of mine some time ago told me that Stevie performed in Middletown at the Fairgrounds and only did 3 songs? Also said she was f'd up (duh) and tied a pair of underware to her mic stand that was thrown onstage. |
