I have to admit, not only has it been a long time since I addressed any of these rules (sixth grade), but even then I didn't have to really address them, as I just always knew how the sentence should be and what not. I mean, I'm not going to remember extra **** if I'm already getting an 'A'.

right. it is a verb, but it's functioning in the sentence as a noun. trufakt.
