![]() "Dancin' Across The USA" was the OTHER song Lindsey did for the "National Lampoon's Vacation" movie.
"Wild California" is the title of an IMAX film that Lindsey did the music for. |

![]() 1) "Dancin' 'Cross The U.S.A." is part of the 1983 film "National Lampoon's Vacation" soundtrack. (As is "Holiday Road".)
2) "Wild California" is part of the IMAX movie "Adventures In Wild California" soundtrack. (It's an instrumental version of the Gift Of Screws song "Try For The Sun".) Hope that helps! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() Hi. Has anyone ever noticed that Lindsey's "aaauuuuumph" sound in Dancin' Across the U.S.A. sounds similar to the same sound in Steel Your Heart Away?
Pretty Cool! Chris |

![]() although i'm not completely sure, I believe a few members of the Kingston Trio sang background on that song. Lindsey had been working with John Stewart for several years, he also contributed to the Stewart/Nick Reynolds (another former Kingston Trio member) album called Revenge of the Budgie, which came out around the same time as Vacation. That album featured a great Buddy Holly tribute song called "Buddy won't you roll down the line"-probably the only place you'll find lindsey singing backup with Gary Busey!
Anyway, the b-vocals sound very similar to those on Dancin' Cross the USA |
