Talking Fleetwood Mac & Knight Rider

HA! I was obviously bored out of my gourd and was taking a viewing of "Knight Rider" on TV yesterday. Basically the episode revolved around Knight trying to catch this gang of street racers. At some point he walks into this bar and I hear "Rhiannon" playing...but it was an awful country version. Anyone else remember this?

If I am not mistaken Waylon Jennings covered Rhiannon. It could have been that version.

Pretty sure it was a woman's voice, though.

Well someone on the Knight Rider staff must have been a fan because there was also an episode where Michael befriends a little gypsy boy and they played a horrible remake of Gypsy.

There was another popular song that was played later in the episode, that I cant recall, but it was also a cover version.

On the pilot episode he tunes into "Don't Stop" (just after listening to "Take It Easy" by The Eagles.)

It's a good bet that the Fleetwood Mac fan in the production team was Glen A. Larson himself.

(Big Knight Rider fan here...and proud to admit it...! )

Oh Seteca...why? WHY? When you have such amazing programs like Little Britain, Father Ted, League of Gentleman, and Alan Partridge..? And lets not forget Benny Hill.

Hahaha...yea I get that a lot. It's probably because I was about 4 years old when Knight Rider was around (originally) and it was something I grew up with. For years and years my dream car was an '82 black Pontiac Trans-Am (which could drive, talk and go "super pursuit"...haha...). I'm sure the fact that a car which I very much admire these days is the BMW 850csi is no coincidence - they look very similar, but the 850csi will kick the Trans-Am's ass in terms of specs.

As for Little Britain...hell yea! "I want that one!!"...

Nothing quite like a bit of Monty Python though.

HAHA...I want that one! I love the one where he gets out of the wheelchair while at the swimming pool, dives from the highboard and then gets back in the chair! hahaha

Was channel flipping a while back, and was surprised to hear a cover version of "Hold Me" played in its entirety in the background of a scene in a Knight Rider episode.

When I saw the title of this thread, that's what I thought it was about.
