Honestly, I don't even hear the Buckingham influence (or maybe I just don't want to hear it), so he's not even a good rip-off.

And vocally he sounds like an extra-nasal James Taylor.

The music a little but not the vocals. I get more of a Not Shy Walter Egan kind of feel with a little America thrown in.
