We've been talking about this in the "Post Rumours" thread. I think it's a real possibility if they end up doing a "Rumours anniversary" tour next year. Everyone knows GYOW, everyone know Don't Stop, **** most people know TUSK.

I thought The Stones friggin' rocked Half Time! I do agree that the sound could have been better, but I thought the set was very cool. You also need to remember that it is a stressful show to do...every little detail has to be pulled off just so. If you noticed, there were digital counters all over the stage counting down the exact amount of time they had remaining to finish. It is clearly not really a performance where you can let loose! But they still did a great job of not looking too stiff. THE BEST PART IS THAT THEY HAD THE BALLS TO DO A NEW SONG (which rocks, btw) AT THE BLOODY SUPER BOWL!!! I'm sorry if people were bored otherwise, but I think Start Me Up was an obvious (in a good way) choice for a sporting event and that Satisfaction is appropriate since it is obviously a gig where they are aiming to please the general population. Yeah, Mick couldn't sing a couple of lyrics, but I'm sure he was told repeatedly that no "big lips malfunctions" would be allowed after last year with Justin and Janet.

Keith Richard's face was left completely exposed for 20 minutes in front of an audience of 100 million people. I can't believe there hasn't been any moral outrage from the Christian Right yet!

It has taken you 40 Super Bowls to figure out that one?

Thank God for Puppy Bowl II over on Animal Planet.

I think last year's half time show with Paul Mccartney was the best half time show ever. I feel he did a MUCH better job then the Stones. I had high expectations for the, but seriously their song choices were worse then the Mac's could've been. I KNEW they'd do Start Me Up and Rough Justice, and I wish they wouldn't have. Gimme Shelter and Heartbreaker would've been so much more adventurous.

Honestly, how could they not have done "Start Me Up," their only #1 single, or "Satisfaction," a song consistently ranked "greatest rock song of all time" during a Super Bowl Halftime Show? It's the Super Bowl Halftime Show, not Austin City Limits for crying out loud.

A bit off subject..but...my daughter was at a kid rock concert..(not a fan but had free tickets given to her) ..anyway Kid Rock was complaining big time about the Stones playing the Super Bowl..He figured that it of show cased some of the great artist's from Motown.. Madonna,Seger,himself...etc...

Sheesh! Well what is the difference between Stevie and the Rolling Stone's lead singer? He is ten years older and is even more dainty and girly in his clothing choices and general persona from what I saw.

Mick Jager was born July 26, 1943. Stevie Nicks was born May 26, 1948. By my math, Mick Jagger is only four years and ten months older than Stevie (and two weeks YOUNGER than Christine McVie).

You heard wrong...there wasn't even a Schnauzer in the place.

Danny, the beagle/basset mix won MVP honors.

BTW, I take my dog shows seriously, David.
