It's Rick Elser from CT, I wouldn't be alarmed; probably a Yale buddy. He got his ass kicked when he ran, I think he got less than 25% of the vote. His platform kind of sucked; he concentrated on economic issues and very little else. Didn't seem very bright to me.

I think that's part of the reason why Elser lost, because he was so rich. I remember his campaign was making statements about how he was a member of this country club and that country club. Not the kind of **** you want to publicize when you're running on an "I'm for the poor" platform.
